This week’s set is 6059 Catapult.

Knight’s Stronghold, a gate and wall section for the Black Monarch’s, was released in 1990. This is one of several wall sections that attach to the Black Monarch’s Castle. The wall includes three Monarch guards, a jail, two large doors, torches, shields and other accessories. Black Falcon soldiers, including a fully armored knight and a siege worker, are attacking the wall with a trebuchet.

Submit your questions about the 2004 and 2005 storylines and image design process in the discusion thread. Specific questions about design decisions for the sets will not be answered. And of course any discussion of future products is prohibited ;-)

Ben E. 18 XII 05

CC Member Sir Kohran purchased one of the new KK2:3 Maxifig knights. He scanned a flyer that came with the set. This flyer shows three new Knight's Kingdom minifigure scale sets. The knights defend a tower fortress (8823), and a bridge (8822) against Vladek's henchmen. Vladek's evil forces have their own ship (8821) with dragon sails and a dock.

Discuss these new minifig sets and maxifig knights.

Vikings land at U.S. SAH
Ben E. 1 XII 05

The five Viking sets became available for sale yesterday at U.S. Shop at Home. Prices are consistent with Amazon and Toys R Us who began selling the sets several months ago. Unfortunately the sets arrived late for the Thanksgiving Sale and free shipping on orders over $99. But this is great news for fans who do not live next to a Toys R Us.
