|LEGO Dragons Contest
Bruce 26 I 12
Forum members Siercon and Coral are hosting a LEGO Dragons Contest over in the Flickr
LEGO Dragons group.
Check the rules and enter your MOC over there on Flickr - you've got a little over a month, so get building.
Also be sure to post your creations in our forum, as I'm sure we'd all love to see them as well.
|Lord of the Rings figs
Bruce 24 I 12
We've already seen a few of these in teaser posters, but now we get to see the nine walkers who set forth from Rivendell with the Ring.
This poster showing figures from the upcoming Tolkien sets was on display at the London Toy Fair.
Credit for the photo goes to the blogger at Blogomatic3000,
and credit for bringing it to our attention goes to forum member Dyntar.
Do you love these new figs?
Do you hate them?
Share your thoughts in the forum.
Update! Huw Millington of Brickset was at Toy Fair, and, while he was not allowed to take photos inside the booth, he was allowed to take extensive notes. His report gives a list of all of the sets from the first wave (arriving in August) with his descriptions.

Dave and Johnny Xandegar are a father and son team of builders known collectively as briXwerX.
This past fall, they were inspired by the Pythonscape display at BrickCon,
and they wanted to build something of their own.
The result was the famous Trojan Rabbit.
Dave and Johnny are in northern Illinois, where they are members of KLUG.
They're extremely active both within the LEGO community and in the broader public eye, with ongoing exhibits at libraries and other locations, and also hosting
Creativity Labs to inspire young builders.
You can follow up on all of their news and learn more about them at the briXwerX Studio.
