6062 Redux

This is a remake of the classic castle set 6062: The Battering Ram. This build features hinged walls, and an opening door just like the real set did.

6062 Reimagined

This is the only classic castle era set I own and also the first castle set I acquired so this was the first thing that came to mind for this category. All doors/trapdoor open, the wall sections can be hinged to form a complete fortress, the battering ram works the same way as the one in the set and can open the doors, and all floors of the tower can be accessed. It has 7 figs and lots of extra accesories.

Black Monarch's Ghost (6034), reimagined

This is an interpretation of the classic Black Monarch's Ghost set, using new colors and techniques. I tried to keep all the original elements: extremely large door compared to the building, green base, three battlements, bird, flagpost, knight, a overall black building with a few grey elements in it.

Black Monarch´s Ghost

Classic reimagined, Black monarch´s ghost.
This was a very small Lego set and it was the first I got from the Black knights line. And there is alot of talk and speculations on diffrent Lego forums, whatever this ghost is the Black Monarch´s or is it his ghost. I have gone with that the ghost is the Black Monarch´s that has come back to revenge his death, the knight in the set is/was his (not so) loyal right hand and the knight is now his successor. The small building in the set, I reimagined it as the crypt where he is buried.

Blacksmith Shop

Somewhere in a calm and hidden valley there is a small blacksmith shop. It is more a wheelwright workshop than a classic blacksmith. The owner is an ex-soldier who fed up with killing and war and decided to start a new life. His old comrade joined him to protect the workshop. Their workshop serves everyone regardless of sides but only with wheels, horshoes and other peaceful tools. The blacksmith refuses to craft weapons anymore.

Guarded Inn

Just inside the city walls of Tigelfáh near to the Fish Gate sits the Guarded Inn. The Inn got its name after Earl of Léonas guards at the gate regularly visited the Inn when duty had finished.

The Inn is also very popular with visitors coming to see the Earl of Léonas as they use the road running near the river and past Fish gate on their way. Today Baron Falcon is visiting the Earl and is stopping for a famous Tigelfáh Ale at the Guarded Inn.

This is a recreation of the Classic Castle Set 6067-1

Return to the Castle of the Batlord

Instead of reimagining a set that has already a great reputation i chose to make something decent out a of a rather obscure set. And so i chose the underrated set 6097 Knight Lords Castle from the rather flawed fright knights theme.

Return to the Yellow Castle

I humbly offer this tribute to the greatest Lego set ever #375 and pass her for consideration into the Classic Set Re-imagined category of CCCX.

I was so overcome with nostalgia that I've even resorted to poetry.
