Instructions/Shop at Home Catalogs
I've got a large collection of instructions and Shop at Home Catalogs (enough that I dread the idea of going through and taking pictures of every one.) I'm also trying to get rid of a bunch of old things, and but before tossing these out, I figured I'd see if anyone was interested. Ideally I'd sell ...

Re: dwarf moutian fortress target door buster
Darn! I was there at 2:30, in and out in 10 minutes as well. I went to get a 2TB hard drive that was nearly 50% off, and I wasn't aware of this until now. I was impressed by the organization, they brought out coffee to people in line, and had security to keep things moving smoothly.

Colonial APC
With the Concordiate Navy fighting for it's life against the Melconian Incursion, the colonists living on Edion II must defend themselves during a surprise attack by the Deng. One way they cope is by modifying existing vehicles, and this is once such case. A mining vehicle modified into an APC. [Bas...

Re: Stop Motion Sword Fight
Maybe a mini tripod? My wife has a portable lazy susan from Ikea that was fairly inexpensive that may suit your purpose and if you don't have an Ikea near you, I'm sure any place that sells kitchen ware would have one. I was considering something like that, but I don't want it to be visible. I'm do...

Re: Stop Motion Sword Fight
Thanks Bruce! The blood spilling out actually only got thrown in because I had to redo the ending, to make the scene longer to fit with the music. I'm still not really happy with it to be honest, seems like the song just cuts off and doesn't fit well, but ya live ya learn. The camera seems a bit sha...

Stop Motion Sword Fight
Hey guys! It's been a while since I posted anything, first was busy with college, then since I've gotten back, work has been hectic. I finally managed to get something done, which I've been thinking about for a while. http://i2.ytimg.com/vi/quUTwnmPuHI/3.jpg Any comments or criticism would be apprec...

Interesting survey, Bruce, thanks for the link.
It's been fixed.davee123 wrote:They sort of lost some credibility when they said: "AFOL stands for Adult Followers of Legos". Got the acronym incorrect, and said "Legos" in the same sentence!

Re: Age Of Empires Question
AOE 1 actually also works on Vista, although I don't know about Windows 7. I was a bit nervous about upgrading, but with Dell I didn't have a choice in the matter.
And AOE 1 is the best! (With the single exception of opening gatehouses in 2).

Re: Some statistic about CCC7
Very nice, Jens! It's always interesting to have a compact set of numbers to look at. As to the dip, I'd say that the success from 2008 may have worked against us in 2009. So many new people joined, many may have decided, after trying it once, not to continue. However, i know for my part, I didn't s...

Re: Christmas LEGO Present
"No, I believe the upper torso would be too narrow at the shoulders and the arm attachments would get in the way. " The inside flash drive would easily fit, the USB plug is the larger part. Possibly a fig with armor, a castle fig, but the euro armor is actually connected and part of the fi...

Christmas LEGO Present
For Christmas, the coolest gift I think I got, was a LEGO keychain. http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb80/Kelderic/th_100_2531.jpg But it opened up to contain a surprise, a 4GB flashdrive also! http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb80/Kelderic/th_100_2532.jpg And the cap clicked on top like a real ...

Gate Sizes
I'm having problems with the size of the main gate of my Castle. The problem is, what seems like a large gate for the size of the castle, doesn't fit a knight on horseback. And I don't think I'm alone. I've noticed that many castles that are shared, the gates are actually really small, compared to a...

Re: Evolution of a Trebuchet - Part 5
Thank you, Knight! And sadly yes, Ye Olde Republic. Life in the form of illness got in the way of completely part 6 before the end of Thanksgiving break, even though I had an awesome week long one. I have two weeks left of school, then gotta bust butt to work on this and CCCVI. Must maintain balance...
