There aren't very many LEGO castle sets that just strike me as pure awesomeness(very few now). I mean, even many of the bigger, awesome, older castles did inspire many an adventure(well, at least the idea of many an adventure; BFF is the only old castle set I really own), but there were few to which...

I liked the original Toa. Bionicle, I do admit, was pretty sweet in the first year. LEGO weaving such an intricate story was original and cool. Plus, the sets were tight, being mostly Technic. And the story itself -- robot dudes in a mysterious tropical island -- rocked my socks. But then came year ...

But it's something I'd never thought about before. Maybe the king really was evil? :) But seriously, it is just more of that ambiguity that made the different factions so great, and is lacking now which makes the factions so poor. Yep. Frankly, I never found the Royal King (is it possible to be Kin...

I do think that the whole dino thing is just a ruse. LEGO is producing realistic modern war sets because they may sell well, however, as long as they're blowing up DINOSAURS, then it's all good.
I don't like it.

Re: Blame The Masses

I'll grant you asylum. Just bring a toothbrush :-) Bye Jojo Could you count me in, too? Ah, yes, bazookas, machine guns and dinos for us violent Americans. What's next? Will they give us Tom Clancey sets? War re-enactments sets? Viet nam? The Rwandan Genocide? God forbid. This is indeed a pi...

Dino sets for us violent Americans ... any shred of non-violence that LEGO had left is blown to pieces. Bazookas, machine guns, the lot. Pity.

Well, at least we'll get the Vikings via internet.

Yeah, I hope that it's next year, with perfected sets -- bearded Vikings, the boats more filled out. It was a great line, but still a bit rough round the edges. "No, that's not true. That's impossible!*" *Bonus points to the one who can identify that quote. Luke Skywalker, "The Empire...

I also dislike printed weapons, simply because you can't remove them. I mean, how dumb is it if someone dies when they haven't even pulled a big freaking ax off of their chest? Also, I'm upset about the coif -- that means that they yellow face will probably be of lower quality -- I got a Green Gobli...

I think that the yellow border looked like some kind of shield for the elite Black Falcons, or perhaps for Falcon nobility, while blue was for the common soldiers. But I like them both.

I have to say that it gets rather depressing anymore reading posts on this forum. I think we've all beaten the dead horse about how LEGO isn't like it was back in the day. It just seems like no one will ever be happy with any set unless it mimics completely what it was way backwhen. That's not goin...

I think it's awesome that we're getting big dragons that aren't Bionicle. They look awesome. And they're more than three pieces, unlike the DM dragons. Also, I do think that the fortress has improved -- a few things are worse, but overall, I like it better. It feels more complete. Plus, it doesn't h...

Well, Tennisballkid, thanks a lot for spoiling the joke... yeah, I made that box... as a joke, on Red Bean Studio... I really hope one day it does become a real set... :-p I dunno, LEGO doing not only a Hobbit set, but a Hobbit MINIFIG set? Those are pretty rare! Still, we can only hope that your j...
