Re: Building musings
I do like to make any castle creations so that a MF could get to all parts of it. So towers have to have stairs or at least ladders, rooms have to have doorways between them, even if you can't see it from the outside, and all doors have to actually lead somewhere. One of the things I've come to real...

Re: Are Legos More for Adults Now?
I'd say the 10280 Flower Bouquet is currently the set that's most aimed at adults.

Re: Gate Sizes
I've always been a fan of making huge double door gates as the main entrance/exit of my castles. For example, I made this one that an elephant with one of those shed-on-its-back things can walk through. While [url=https://brickshelf.com/...

I like the way you used a tip hinge to get the Santa hat to lean to the side a bit.

Re: Are Legos More for Adults Now?
Brickset recently had an article about the growing number of large sets aimed at adults. It seemed to be a very fitting article for the times, considering the release of the 10276 Colosseum set.

Re: What was your first LEGO set?
The first set that I bought was Red BASIC set #333. I had a few pieces from McDonald's Happy Meal LEGO sets before that. They really maxed out my interest in LEGO, which led me to buy set 333 at a Pamida in Hoopston, Illinois when I was i...

That's a very nice build all around. How did you get the minifig legs under the windows to stay in place?

Re: June: A discussion of Weapons
Whenever I set up a castle wall and put the minifigs on top, I make sure that they're all holding a bow, crossbow or spear. (I suppose if one of the spearmen throws their spear, they will be left without a weapon, but hey—at least they're still on top of the wall.) Swords, lances and other non-range...

So if Classic Space did well, and Classic Pirates were to do well... could we see something "Classic Castle"? Here's hoping. As far as Ideas sets, we do have the approved Medieval Blacksmith set coming. It's n...

Do you have a link to photos of the minifigs, or maybe a list of what you have for sale and what quantities?

check out these golden shields with lion crest, found in 71719, 71720, 71721, and 71722. Those would be awesome for outfitting a Narnian army IMO: [img]https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49926012826_a03c0a3382_n.jp...

I like the use of color and angles. My only nit pick is that the door opens the wrong way.

That is a great looking knight minifig, and looks like a VERY nice new sword mold. Yes, that is a new sword mold. I would like to get a bunch of the Viking to add to my Viking village, but so far I'm getting more of a Chicken Knight army because I've found 4 of him and only 1 of the Viking. Amazon....

Re: LEGO Mario - Bowser's Castle Boss Battle Expansion Set
I find it mildly interesting that they made a 4X4 circular tile area by using a 2X2 round tile surrounded by 4 macaroni tiles. If anyone had hope that LEGO was going to make a 4X4 round tile, that hope is gone, or at least postponed. A 4X4 round tile could have good appeal for a large printed surfac...

75966, Hogwarts Room of Requirement - New animal molds for an otter (Hermione's patronus) and a hare (Luna's patronus). It would be great if we could get these in natural colors. Of course, I'm still waiting for Harry's stag patronus to come out in brown. Same here. The otter and hare appear to be ...
