Re: Weekly Set Re-Review: Knight's Stronghold
Because I don't own this set I must ask this question. Any one know whether the trebuchet actually fired without manual force(applying force to one end of the catapult) ? I am planning on building one later on today but before I do I just want to ask all of you. Thanks, In answer to your question -...

Re: LEGO Blogging
Sorry I'm late to this party, but I don't check the Publishing Forum every day. 1) What is your blog? Dan's Lego Castle Blog 2) What is the general theme of your blog, or do you have a general philosophy that drives your blogging? The theme of my blog is specifically LEGO Castle, in all of it's glor...

Those frogs are in these 4 sets.Tycho McKorley wrote:Excellent MOC. You've certainly captured the feel of a smaller Goth church. I think my favorite part is the custom decals and shields on your knights. They look beautiful.
Edit: What set did you find those gray frogs in?

Re: New MOC and new blog!
Thanks everyone! The reason I started the blog was that there weren't any niche LEGO Castle Blogs that I was aware of, and I feel relatively capable of filling that need.

New MOC and new blog!
After a long period of dormancy with regard to my LEGO, um, habit, I've emerged with a new MOC and a new Castle LEGO Blog as well. Due to various recession-related issues ( :( ), I find myself with lots of free time these days, so I thought this might be a good way to use some of that time. Here are...

Re: Remake 6071
At first glance the differences are subtle. Not so much though. The river is really impressive in that the builder nailed the look of it whilst making it more three dimensional. I never really understood the rope bridge in this set; why climb up the tower and then climb down that tree to cross a st...

What's even better than his Nazgul is his Fell Beast!
Look carefully and you can see it in the pictures.

Great tower!
I had the opportunity to visit Cardiff Castle last summer. The interior is kind of nuts, not at all what you would expect from looking at the outside. One of it's owners had unusual tastes in home decoration.

It's actually a sneak preview of my next MOC, coming soon to a Classic Castle forum near you! (not that you can actually see anything of it in the photo).LegoLord. wrote:I like the Lego outside the window, it gives a greater sense of scale and action. Good job.

Little diorama
I put together this little diorama for my (non-LEGO) blog, A Weather's Wind, where it will be the image for a roughly weekly feature.

Love that bridge! I bet Brickarms' orders increase this week.
On an unrelated note, on the front page when I first read it I thought it said "Aaron D is a Canadian AFOL from the Victorian era." Had to go back and read it again!
