What 36,000 Pieces Looks Like

Over at Classic-Space, there was a discussion about collection size and buying habits and whatnot, and Roy Cook asked everyone to estimate how much LEGO they have. Many had trouble giving a guess. Luckily, I know how many pieces I have, plus or minus a thousand or so. Even more luckily, I just finis...

Incredible. More detail, and a more interesting layout of the castle structure than most regular LEGO castles.

Hey Ben, Lenny told me that the presentations from that Castle Technique seminar would be online somewhere. Know anything about that?

I had to miss the seminar for lunch and the improvisational Steampunk conference.

Floating Village

Click the pic ^

It's a small floating village, or rather, a few buildings from a larger village displayed at Brickfest 06.

I think it should be clarified that this is not a change in policy, just a clear statement of policies that have been in effect from the very beginning.

So don't expect secret police and such, the level of secret policing will be the same as always ;)

Neat idea, but if you are going for realism, those balloons have to be WAY bigger.

Lol.

Troy and I are holding it up, sorry everyone. Thankfully tonight will be the first non-busy night in a long while, so I'll be able to get mine in.

Of course, it was significantly more expensive!
Yet when was the last time you used it to take pictures of something you build!?!

Models not in minifig scale are often interesting to me (could there be a miniland category in CCC4? :D ). However, I don't really see any medieval aspects to this model. Ya, its more of "Fantasy-Tech" than castle, but it would go in the Misc category, and I am an admin after all, so I th...

CCC Admin Entry: Floating Village (and some steampunk stuff)

I whipped this together real quick tonight from some half-completed creations and some random things, so that Bruce wouldn't win by default :) http://www.neutronbot.com/model/microfloat_thumb/_icon.jpg Click the picture ^ Also, I've made 3 steampunk creations. As we admins can enter 2 entries in the...

It's on the moderation page, seems to be okay. But I forgot how to approve entries, so we'll just have to wait on someone who knows.

Just be patient, it will get there in due time.

Hitodama : A Steam-Powered Vehicle

Image

(picture = link)

It is a steam-powered one-legged hopping vehicle.

I might use it as my entry in that "Admin Pick" dealie. I shall have to see if I am struck with an idea for anything else castle-ish.
