Shouldn´t Harry Potter have been in that poll?
I decided not to include Harry Potter, as it is fairly similar in its sets/elements to the castle theme.

Theme poll

I'm not sure if this poll has been done before. If it has, then I apologize. I was just wondering what the most popular non-castle theme is on the website. So please vote/respond as to your favourite non-castle LEGO theme. Thank you for responding in advance.

LEGO Cleaning

I have just recently taken my LEGO out of my messy storage boxes. However, since much of it has been lying around, a lot of dust has collected on all of the pieces. Due to the studs, it is difficult/impossible to use a dust collector like a Swiffer pad, so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestio...

Not the greatest set, especially when thoughts go back to the old sets of the eighties and nineties, but it definitely has some benefits. It looks intimidating from far away, and is a good source of soldiers and siege pieces, but overall, an average set. Merry Christmas and all the best to the Class...

Thank you for responding. I have a couple of things to address. First of all, I would like to offer my sincerest apologies to Josh Wedin. As I had not yet become a CC member until August, I was completely unaware of his Battles Contest. I understand that, as it came first, it takes priority. Secondl...

Sorry Bruce. I understand about the overload on contests. How long would you say is a good waiting time before holding this potential one? Architect suggested about a month after the conclusion of CCCIV.
Thanks for voting.

Happy Holidays,

Possible contest ideas.

I was thinking of holding a contest after the CCCIV aftermath has died down. I still have to wait for an okay from the admins, (I have already contacted architect), but I thought that I should get some preliminary ideas. My idea is for a themed competition from a medieval set of books/other media. E...

Great to stock your army, and also to build up cavalry. With the crossbow, shield, horse, and two swords, its definitely a great LEGO set to get in bulk.

I haven't read the forum, so I apologize if I am repeating anybody's questions. For the custom figure category, do you need to create custom pieces, or can you alter LEGO helmets or shields without actually creating new ones out of scupley or plastecine? Secondly, for the battle scene category, does...

Not a great set, but not bad either. I like the assortment of siege weapons, although the cannon takes away from the early medieval aura that is present in many other LEGO themes. Overall, 7/10

I prefer the hand cart to the chariot, as the hand cart simply looks more like something that the Wolfpack would use, while the Royal Knights look more like chariot users.

Great medium sized castle set. Although it is a bit plain, a few of these together (slightly altered of course)could pose as a formidable castle. A great set, one that I wish LEGO would re-release.

Great set to use for a haunted/abandoned castle. I wish LEGO re-released this set and made others like it.
