Re: Castle Gear Review: Fright Knights Playing Cards

I was pleased that Lego released the Pirates cards, and wish I would have had the knowledge in the past to pick up a deck (or two) of these. They look pretty neat, and am sure would be fun to play with. I can only hope Lego continues to produce decks of playing cards for various themes, especially c...

Re: Classic-[Insert New Name Here].com?

Alright, well this is at least interesting. A sad thing to see 'Castle' possibly leave us, but if this means a continuation of the theme, I can live with letting the name evolve.

Re: playmobil project - prison tower

This was a very good idea, and you've executed it incredibly well! I especially like the way you used the large castle wall pieces behind arches to not only give depth, but I also think it just looks darn good. :]

Re: Erecting a runestone

I love the way you did the slab of stone, it looks so well done. Yes, decals would have made it nicer, but I see no reason why this isn't a very well done MOC without. :]

Re: Little Armory.

Never had problems with that myself. How did you go about cutting them off? I find a nice razor blade is good. If you are really into it you can further clean it up with some super fine sandpaper. I never did model making or Warhammer etc. but have a friend who does and he seems to be able to get t...

Re: Weekly Set Review: Skeletons' Prison Carriage

I personally enjoyed this as part of the line-up of the new generation of Castle sets. The number of figures is good, the number of horses is great, and there is a lot of playability right out of the box. The set design works well with the theme, in my opinion. I can very easily see a taller, almost...

Re: Weekly Set Review: Knights Battle Pack

The lack of short swords had me a bit distressed, but gosh the amount of shields, armor, and a variety of just about every recent helmet makes this a great minifig set. Deff. my favorite between this and the skeleton one.

Re: Weekly Set Review: [Dragon Master's Chariot]

I actually really like this set. One of the cool features is that the halberds fold out so that they can dismember all who stand before it! I was lucky enough to get one off of ebay and it looks great in front of a nice Dragon Knight force.

Re: Not laughing

I think that anyone who was actually offended by today's joke needs to lighten up. If your day was honestly impared because of the inability to check the forums for a while, regardless of your schedule, I'm not entirely sure why you would want to confess to something so embarassing. I, personally, f...

Very fun project! I've always thought the Bull faction was very neat, and wished they would have introduced a permanent structure for them.

I would pay more for the second than the first, but not more than $30 unless I was up to something.

I believe these are still prototype pictures, aren't they? At least that's the case with the Star Wars sets which were on display. I personally feel that, even though this is more or less how the sets are going to look, they appeal to me. The troll fortress almost looks like a wrap-around design, wi...

Well, as long as we're dreaming, let's just say I want every Castle set ever, MISB, and 637 copies of each. :P But, a bit more realistically, I might want next year's stuff (especially the Market Village!), some more copies of the recent Kings Castle Siege, for parts, and... 6090, Royal Knights Cas...

Any idea about time/date frame for Australia? I have every piece in the Castle 2007/2008 set and CANNOT WAIT for this Marketplace. Especially with the addition of more girls!! I know what you mean! Unfortunately I have no clue about when Australia could see it. I'm sure there are more educated memb...
