Re: Chapter 18 of the Ruinous Chronicles Full Illustrations

I'm loving it so far :) I'm still catching up, because I started late, but the greedy part of me loves a chapter a week - ha ha... whatever works for you though... story writing and picture taking/editing is a lot of work... I don't know how you do it!

Re: Chapter 16 of the Ruinous Chronicles Full Illustrations

I've FINALLY gotten to the point where I can read your story, and I'm excited that you're still developing it... I know how much work it takes to edit photos and post them online and etc. etc.... on top of that, you're really putting a lot into your building - a lot of unique, creative work there - ...

Re: HMS Renown

Really awesome ship. It feels like a classic LEGO set, but has so much more than a set could ever (affordably) offer. Very well done! Love the use of colors, heraldry and more.

Re: Elves

The part that is sad...is that not very many bricklink stores part them out. So getting your hands on the Elves parts that are sweet isn't cheap or easy in quantity. I agree with you here - the parts are good. I think they are disappointing to me because a theme name like "Elves" seems to...

Re: Elves

"Elves" Such a promising, exciting title to a theme... and such a disappointment in real life. I wish they would stay with yellow figs, or at least that Harry Potter peachy color... and no Barbie-like figs. I just can't justify spending the money on them, which is too bad, because some of ...

Re: Chapter 3 of The Ruinous Chronicles Now Up Fully Illustr

I love the pace you are going at, and the buildings/MOCs are amazing - very very well done. I'm moving to a new home now, so I haven't had time to read yet, but will do so and post as soon as things settle down.

Wow! Great find Formendacil!

Feels like ages since I've had a good LEGO story to look forward to gobbling up!

Off to boil the tea and then read! :)

Re: EXIN CASTILLOS NEW GENERATION -- CASTLE

Hi all!

As a past "clone-connoisseur" :) I just want to note for you all that these are not LEGO bricks, but Exin bricks, a brand from Spain.

What's more, it doesn't appear that these bricks will fit with you LEGO bricks collection... so just wanted to be sure you all knew :-)

Re: Collectible Minfigures Series 15

Tough to say whether or not something is worth buying since everybody values items (and their money) differently. I plan to buy a few more Satyrs, Knights, and Mechs at $4 each, but there are several figures I wouldn't want to buy at full retail price. That sounds about right to me! I went to Targe...

Agreed - and I like what you did with the figs... not too flashy, but very cool looking

Re: Collectible Minfigures Series 15

That's funny - I was just looking at this yesterday... I would love to pick and choose... but your review actually will help me decide if this is worth the purchase of the figs or not.. thanks!

The Knight is my favorite... I'm still not sure if it's worth the price... hmm

Re: 1272 AD German Knight

My apologies in advance, fellow FOL, I'm usually into what most people consider to be too much detail for Lego
Not at all! It's a nice change! I do like the more basic designs as a rule, but I love this as well - adds diversity to the mix! :)

This is VERY good - I'm not sure I've ever seen a custom fig like this one before - almost looks like you could play a tabletop wargame with this sucker! Well done, really love it - detailed, but not overly so. Looks very historical - like LEGO castle grew up or something! :)

Re: Shipwreck

I love this! The shipwreck is awesome... you really made it look 1/2 ship and 1/2 decay... not necessarily an easy task with bricks. I seriously love (and saved to my computer) the huge water/wind funnel... would love to see more pics about how you made that and what it looks like.

Very well done!
