Just wondering if most of you experienced MOCers prefer to use 1x2 rather than 1x4 (or 1x6, etc). If so, what's the reasoning? I've stocked pile a lot of 1x_ (mainly 4 and 6) and would like to try to put something together (castle themed of course), but should I switch to 1x2 instead? Personally, I...

It's such a treat to not only see the finished product, but to witness the planning/progress throughout the build as well. Your Castle creations have really matured over the years, Tony (and your train MOCs just started off amazing).

The pieces Jim is selling are old grays. At this point in time, the chances of finding pieces in the old colours on PAB are highly unlikely!

I have a new picture, though it's not all that "new". It's the same picture as before, but I've slid baseplates underneath it to create an actual stud-map. It turns out the drawing I'm using is flawed - the front doors don't line up with the centerline of the building - but I'll fix that ...

Like Bruce has pointed out, excellent placement of figs! That's another valuable skill that doesn't get enough credit (and another thing I cannot do well)...
