Forestmen sets for sale, and more!

Re: Stretching your brick collection
Just wondering if most of you experienced MOCers prefer to use 1x2 rather than 1x4 (or 1x6, etc). If so, what's the reasoning? I've stocked pile a lot of 1x_ (mainly 4 and 6) and would like to try to put something together (castle themed of course), but should I switch to 1x2 instead? Personally, I...

And while I am asking questions, I will ask two more. I am trying to buy parts for my castle, but what is the difference between light grey and light bluish grey? Or, more importantly, which is the more common color? I have pictures of a castle I made here: (http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/181170) ...

It's such a treat to not only see the finished product, but to witness the planning/progress throughout the build as well. Your Castle creations have really matured over the years, Tony (and your train MOCs just started off amazing).

Well, if someone only wanted 1 forestman, but had extras, I'm sure s/he might want to trade for something else!Crazylegoman wrote:Would it be safe to assume that everyone here wants the Forestman and wouldn't be willing to trade him?

The pieces Jim is selling are old grays. At this point in time, the chances of finding pieces in the old colours on PAB are highly unlikely!Laird Cashman wrote:The regular 2x2 are way cheaper then on PAB! Thank God! Cheap bricks! I'll probably buy from there! Laird Q'flagger

Re: St. Sava's Cathedral Project
I have a new picture, though it's not all that "new". It's the same picture as before, but I've slid baseplates underneath it to create an actual stud-map. It turns out the drawing I'm using is flawed - the front doors don't line up with the centerline of the building - but I'll fix that ...

If you can build something out of LEGO and make not look like LEGO, that's a good thing!kris kelvin wrote:It`s good or not good?Gumby wrote:Wow... At first glance, it looks like Playmobil!
