Update on Warner Bros. LEGO movie.

I found this today, and thought you guys might want to take a look. Link From what I've read in the article, Phil Lord and Chris Millers, the guys who did Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs are writing and directing the film. Also, while it's not clear yet, it sounds like it might actually be a stop-...

Re: Warner Bros. is Building a LEGO Movie

Somehow, I do not think you could portray rivalries between real companies like that in a film. Also, the film will most likely not be stop-motion, as much as I would like to see it be done that way. Chances are it's going to be CGI, because that's what everyone is doing now.

Re: Warner Bros. is Building a LEGO Movie

This is terrible. If it was stop-motion, and made by, like, Aardman or Tim Burton, I'd be a little happier. Yes, Tim Burton. I'm looking at Warner Bros. list of films for the past two years or so, and none of their family comedies that I recognized appealed to me at all. I will keep a close eye on t...

Re: Theme with Best Sets in 2009

I've always liked the Creator sets, especially the houses, so I voted that. I bought myself the Beach House and Street Speeder, and sometimes I just like staring at them. The car is parked right in front of the house, and it just looks great. Both are very good sets for the price.

New Film: Title is Irrelevant!

YouTube Link Finally, after a 6-7 month hiatus in which I wondered if going crazy would be the best decision I would ever make, I have made a new film! It has comedy, action, DANGER, horror, and all that jazz. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it. Length: 1:32 minutes Genre: Comedy

Does this mean The Hobbit LEGO Sets?!!

During my inevitable browse of Wikipedia one day, I had the urge to read some about the upcoming The Hobbit film. Scrolling down to the bottom of the page, I found this: Traveller's Tales also created a demo for a LEGO [videogame] of The Hobbit as a pitch to Jackson. Now, apart from the upcoming LEG...

Thanks for the replies, guys. They're really helping. I kind of figured out already that I'll have to ship bricks from somewhere nearby, after telling my mom that I might be shipping some bricks from England. And I forgot to mention that I'll only be doing the outsides of the buildings, after about ...

Hmm. Bricklink is definitely cheeper; I can get twice as many Bricks for half the price. I'm still worried about the shipping, though. I'll probably end up shipping from several different places, so prices could get annoying.

Building a city; need brick buying advice

Okay, I have a set in my upcoming film where I am going to need several buildings on a city street; maybe 4-6 first floors, at least. I can do 3 first floors, maybe more, but as I get deeper into the buildings I'll have to do more floors. So, I've got about seventy-five dollars to spend, and I need ...

I need set advice.

Some of you might have seen the pictures of a white mini-mart that I posted a while back on my Flickr. Well, I'm recreating the set, but I need to update it a bit. Here is the original set. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3140/2634589379_e498706570.jpg Any suggestions on a new color scheme would be a...

None, though I gave my brothers a Bionicle and Star Wars Rebel Battle Pack. And I did get The Last Crusade, and Brisingr, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Wall-E, because my oldest sister is coming over to visit tomorrow with her husband and son.

Pictures!

I was cleaning out more bricks today, when I decided to take some pictures, to help me remember this horrible event, and to also help parents trying to get their kids to not eat food in their rooms. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3156/3085944442_ac4130a48e.jpg The picture is a link to two more pictu...
