Re: August: Essential rooms in your castle

The privy that overhangs the caste moat, of course! And a dungon room, mostly done on the ground floor level, by having the main entance to the keep on the second floor, by means of an outisde staircase. Such an access is pretty canon, as it made bashing in the door and storming the keep much more d...

I've always liked the realisticly spartanic interiors of the castle themed custom sets by Dan Siskind, like in his Tower of Vlad Dracula:

Looking at the interior shot, one could argue that the scene taking place at the top floor of the tavern is open to more than one possible storyline interpretation.

Re: LEGO World

Hello Bruce, just ansering the ones I can help you on your way with. Anyone know who built this series of castles and/or if there are more pics of them? They seem to be by the same builder. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/barman/events/Legoworld2007/saterday/thumb/p1020533.jpg_thumb.jpg http://www...

And, here are more examples of tiles-I-couln't-find-at-the-moment-but-could-use. 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 . I believe that tiles with a pattern according to number 2 will look much more convincing as striped shutters, as opposed to the chevron type pattern you used initially. With friendly greetings, M. It's the only original and official (I mean Non-Legends an non-custom) Castle set that I own. In my opinion, the very elegant shape of the cart makes it as cute as the Clikits trademark girls.

I wonder, why has this set has been filed under "out of production" in the CCC-set list, while Canada and USA are the only two S@H countries where it is not available anymore? I've mailed Ben about this, but didn't recieve any reaction. Woah, lets not go overboard there, Pachino. Its a gre...

The succesfull double worldrecord attempt in Albergen, the Netherlands drew nice media attention, they succeeded in braking both the official record for tallest LEGO structure (set to 27,7 meter) as wel as the offi...
