Re: collectable figs

I don't think people realize that the quality issues have been addressed. The knee-jerk "No China" mentality is a bit short-sighted at this point.

Sounds like a bulk-order of baseplates would suit you. ;)

Re: Entrance to Khelduran

I've always loved the look of giant, Petra-style cliffside carvings and this MOC definitely tapped into that love. The weathering and lansdscaping are both excellent (I love the frozen pool), though I thought I spotted a couple BURPs in there. Then again, that's not a big turn-off to me. I hope to s...

Re: Weekly Set Review: The Knight

One thing I really liked about this set was the lack of printing on the armor, thus enabling the soldier to generically fit in wherever needed. I would love to see a similar Kingdoms impulse.

Re: 'Normal' Great Sword and Crown

That's a good point, wobnam. We've had quite a few princesses over the years, but, outside of Belville, LEGO hasn't given us a kingdom with a prince since 1979.

Non-Released Helmet Available

I hope this is in the right place. I ran on to this on Brickfilms.com Hi guys, didn't know where else to mention this, so hope I'm using the right section. Anyway, I reason this will be of interest to you all, since we've been receiving emails from brickfilmers about it for nearly a decade! Our film...

Re: Atlantis Helm & Armor: Good for Castley MOCs

I would imagine that it will become more common with the following wave of Atlantis sets.
It will be exclusive to the Portal set for this wave, but once the characters reach Atlantis, it makes sense to assume that it will be present on a lot more included minifigures.

Re: Where salt and sweet meet

Fantastic work. The tilt of the tower gives it a nice, slightly cartoonish look and the foam is astounding!
Is the title a Narnia-reference?

Job Mullers: Cottage of the Guild of Cakesniffers

I intended to enter this into the Job Mullers contest, but I, due to a time zone miscalculation, missed the deadline by two hours. This is my first real Castle building, and I realize it's rather plain. Please post any feedback or suggestions. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3553/3304253312_8c4dd16f2...

While I am new, I have seen you around these boards, Doom. As such, I appreciate your honesty and your candidity. By sharing your experience, you encourage everyone who reads it. So now you're sharing the positive effect LEGO has had on you and your life. Thanks for that. :)

I agree, I could care less about the emoticons. I think the post matters more. Hec, I could care less if they got rid of all graphics. I disagree. Certainly emoticons do not need to be used in all posts, but there are many times in which their use is entirely appropraite and useful. For example, ad...

Sorry if I'm being paranoid here, but that sounds a little . . . dubious.
Nevertheless, welcome to Classic-Castle. :)
