Re: Braveheart (LEGO Art)
Epic moment and a fantastic drawing! I must see that movie sometime, I've only seen the scene of the speech.

Re: MOC the Admins--v2.0
Excellent! Now that I've cleared up my building space this is just what I need to start building again. Now the question is, who to mock first?

Re: SDCC 2009: Prince of Persia and Toy Story
Camel!! I'm really liking all the recent middle eastern figures that have come out and the Prince of Persia looks like a great addition. Most of the Toy Story minifigs made me want to puke. The new legs and oversized heads just don't look like Lego to me. Seems more like an action figure of some sor...

Re: Two against many
I love the action and feeling of movement going on with the figures running up the steps and stabbing skeletons. As for the wall, your mixtures of greys made interesting what would have been just a plain wall. Mixing greys isn't the only way to stop plain walls. You may want to experiment adding som...

Re: Golden Tulip Hotel
I'd hate to disagree, but I find the building rather plain being mostly one shade of grey. It seems unfinished and washed out compared to the rest of the scene which has many bright colors. Don't get me wrong, it's built very nicely and seems to take bits and pieces of the building style of the Cafe...

Re: Does anybody player Oblivion: Elder Scrolls?
It is indeed a great game, and has inspired me while building. The landscape and architecture across the whole map varies from the depressing, degraded swamplands to the marvelous walls of the Imperial City. I admire Bethesda (the game developer) and all their work to create a very interesting and b...

Incredible. I agree with Voran, the perspective of that last image is amazing.

Re: What Get's You Motivated to Build?
I have yet to understand what motivates me to build. Just some days I want to build anything then other days I'm wondering why all this LEGO is crowding my desk. Probably if the day has gone well I'll be more creative and thus more motivated to build. Looking at other's creations sometimes motivates...

Re: Clean, white background
The easiest and I think the best way is to have a good physical backdrop such as a sheet or large white paper, but if you're luckey enough to have Photoshop then the process isn't that hard just takes practice to make it look good. I use the Photoshop lasso tools to "cut out" the creation ...

Re: To SNOT or not to SNOT this is the question:
I definetly agree with you, SNOT has been way overused in the creations of these past couple months. The only reaso anyone is going to think a creation is cool is if it is unique. You could have a hundred people build a castle wall of specific length, but only four or five are really going to stand ...

Re: Modified Spaceship by Quickblade
Very strangely that droid reminds me of Aliencat... Great ship. I like what you've done with the bottom and the interior looks great, but how are the crew supposed to make it through those tiny doorways? From my experience minifigs would need at least a four-stud doorway to walk through, unless they...
