I think this is a good idea to start. One thing that has always puzzled me is shouldn't they have a white torso and shield with a red cross, like the real Christian cursades against the Muslims?

Yes that part is a technic axle at the end. Too big for a mini to hold. I guess if you wanted you could sand down the 'handle' so it would fit. Just wait. The thought of sanding LEGO is making me sick...

I have around 420 minis and I keep them in a big bin with all of there accessories. Is the hand streching something to really worry about? Could a hand just break (gulp) from having an accessory (spelling?) in there too long??

I really like the Black Knights. Why do some call the Crusaders Lion Knights? Aren't they the same faction?

I really like the Black Knights since they have awesome armor, nice shield designs, and the castles they have are cool also.

It would be nice if they did have some sort of pattern under the breastplate, chainmail would be the best since we don't have that yet from LEGO.

Are those the hardened sculpey, or resin, or something else? And by the way, what does the resin as described in your article dry to? Is it rubbery, plasticy, rock hard, flexible? Thanks.
