Re: Castle 2016?

The rumor seems fairly reasonable based on how LEGO tends to design their themes lately. Humans versus monsters. Space Police III, Alien Conquest, Galaxy Squad, Monster Fighters, Atlantis, etc. It's like they don't trust children to use their imagination anymore; the bad guys have to be obvious now...

Re: BrickArms Polearms - Will Needs *YOUR* Feedback!

I like them all very much. I will have to buy them, even if funding them means nefarious or immoral or degrading acts unspeakable on a family oriented board. 8)

Re: Cape questions.

Coat by day, blanket by night. Take it off before battle because someone is going to grab it. A fancy cape is a symbol of status, but ultimately serves the same purpose a rough woolen cloak.

Re: The Medieval European Knight vs. The Feudal Japanese Samurai

Depends on the situation... Like the mongols, horseback Samurai often used their own version of the bow & arrow (see pic) http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/00/Samurai_on_horseback.png A samurai on horseback could easily eliminate any knight with a well placed shot. The other weapo...

Unscientific tripe.

This is for guys who get into arguments in bars about who's more badass, not for anyone who wants accurate information.

Brb, gotta mail Spike some Osprey books. :P

Re: The Medieval European Knight vs. The Feudal Japanese Samurai

Unanswerable question. Both samurai and knight cover a huge range of people, over a large span of time, with constantly changing/improving equipment. When we say knight do we mean a 900s Austrasian miles or English cneft? Do we mean a riter of the 1550s Germany? Western Europeans typically wore chai...
