Re: Broken Legos
Wonderful, I hadn't thought of the wire core. Great suggestion. You just saved many shields from the garbage pit, including some from the old yellow castle.

Broken Legos
I am sorry to say that I have quite a few legos from years of play. In most cases, a handles snap off from the shields due to an ill placed foot. Has anyone had much success in repairing this type of break? Is there a type of glue which works better than others for repairing lego breaks?

Here are my 2 entries for the Full Faction portion of the contest. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/dmorrow/ChessV2/chess_003_thumbnail.jpg The Lion faction is located here (When moderated) http://www.br...

This set is great. The board edging is spectacular. The king and queen need to be taller to reclaim their traditional place as the tallest pieces on the board. It would be great to see more detailed photos of the pieces. Maybe Lego will be easy on the wallet and sell each of the pieces and the board...

I used to make my own lego key chains using the holes in technic bricks to hold the key ring. The studs would usually wear off, and I would need to glue the pieces together to keep them from falling apart in my pocket. They would last 3-5 years before they were worn beyond all recognition. I was giv...

Shield Question
I just purchased the Royal King's Castle from Lego shop at home. When opening up the box I saw the stickers for the shield designs and the blank shields. While it has been a 5 or 6 years since I've purchased a castle set  ,I haven't seen stickers for shields since I got the yellow castle in th...
