Wal Mart was/is drying up the US toy market in favor of cheaper product with higher profit margins and excluding the manufacturers from it's shelves that won't cut into the deeeeep discounts that Wally World demands. *cough*Megablocks*cough* This is true and not just for the toy market. I was a man...

When the series came out I was ecstatic- finally, I would have some villains, or at least a band of merry ruffians and troublemakers, since all of my soldiers and knights were of course "the good guys". And the shields, oh how I love them. It's a shame that I only have 2 now. I wasn't too ...

which makes me wonder why LEGO didn't develop an official one for the new Castle Line... I think it is because the wizard is not related to royalty. As for the chess set, TLC has never introduced any new torso designs. In my MOCs, the Wizard is just a minion of the Dark Queen, and the Skeletons are...

I really like the forge and the smithbot- I see that the smith is making up for his short stature. Great MOCs!

Re: Undead Queen

I really like your Skeleton Queen. I am definitely going to be making one for my collection. I must admit that the hairpiece suits your model a lot better than it does on the official Lego princess. Great custom fig. Why thank you! I was originally going to use the Crown Princess body, but came acr...

What I wouldn't give for a Poison Ivy minifig... maybe I should just bite the bullet and acquire one from BL.

Undead Queen

Not much of a MOC, but I've created a queen for the Skeleton/Undead Faction, which makes me wonder why LEGO didn't develop an official one for the new Castle Line... Here she is, along with the Crown Princess from Castle '07 (sorry for the bad quality, my digital camera isn't working so I had to res...

Dragon Masters Dragons

I have two dragons (green, complete assembly, with red wings, used, but in great condition) from the Dragon Masters line that I want to find a good home for. I'm hoping to trade them away, and am pretty much open to anything castle-related. Please PM me if you are interested.

Thanks!

Re: .............................................

Im normally not a fan of using lego raised base plates unless they are covered up... I now know why so many people have issues with raised baseplates- they're so cumbersome when it comes to building a MOC. I kept toying with this for a few weeks, intent on actually using it since most of my raised ...

Black Knights Castle

Here's another MOC I threw together. It's manned by a "revamped" Black Knights faction, a cranky wizard, a dwarf, and an adventurous gong-farmer. I'm much more pleased with this than my previous MOCs (Black Falcons Castle, Dark Forest Guard). Teaser Pic: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/s...

I just bought a pair of red wizard hats as well. Mine are both the same color, and both "standard" red. ... I'm sure there's more information on the "color test" process, but that's all I can think of at the moment. Wow! Thanks for your input- and here I was hoping that I could ...

I believe that your 2 wizard's hats are "prototype" parts used by LEGO. I was wondering that myself since they don't seem to be the "official" red color- one is more or less red while one looks almost like a dark sandy red color. Doesn't matter though, I'm pleased with them and ...

Red Wizard Hats

I wasn't sure where to post this, but I hope this is the correct forum... I recently purchased and received two red wizard hats from BrickLink(!!), I was wondering if anyone was familiar with what set (if any) these actually originate from, or if they are anomolies like that black wizard's beard I'v...
