Nothing stand out of place... which is saying something for Legos. Great use of colors as well, nothing was too brown, bley, white or what-have you. Plus, I am a sucker for tudor with Legos... seeing as my first Lego Castle set had it in it. I still have those yellow tudor wall pieces!

The Magical Workshop was fantastic... it was the first castle set I owned with the new roof slope pieces. I think it looked great.

I always used them as mercenaries, and occasionally as marauders. They followed gold, not morals and were for hire, not stealing in their free time.

I don't think that there was a better series than the crusaders vs. the black knights. This is my childhood Lego, and these little minipacks meant as much as the castles to me. If any set gets a 10/10, than this one is it. What more could you ask of a minifigure pack?

Not big on this set. The whole concept is great... one of my favorites, actually. I had the black siege wall back in the day. It attatched to my Black Monarch Castle, making it uber large! It's just the colors of this one that detract from a great idea.

Love the giant crossbow outside. It just looks convincing, with the bridge and rock walls with wooden defenses.
