A suggestion for the floor is to have the rug equal with the rest of the floor. The rug looks too thick, imo. The rest is aces.

I would prefer that they not do this. Creating new molds is expensive, and expenses are ultimately passed on to consumers. The new horse design already did enough damage to the cost/value of Castle sets. I think the current armor mold is fantastic, and the part is uncommon enough that it still feel...

Nope, I wouldn't change anything in the room. Too much snot on every floor looks like they live in a more modern era, in mho. I like how the floor rug matches the bedspread and her clothes.

I agree with soccerkid, the ruins add a nice touch to it, that the ambush is taking place in the middle of nowhere...a place where the dragon knights would lease expect it. The snow on the ground is nice as I always favor a winter setting. Nice job!

For me personally the limited offering for 2014 is a mixed blessing. I almost want to say, "I have enough of these two factions, bring on the next two factions." Given how the Kingdoms line ended, I made the assumption that 2013 would be the same. So when I purchased what sets/extra figure...

I think Bruce is on to something here. As much as I wanted to buy Orthanc it just did not fit into my budget. Modular sets sound more logical.

I like the floor of this room with the recessed rug standing out. The wall, while creative, seems more suited for an underground room or cave hallway.
