Re: Waterfall House
The orange-brown colour for example seems to be a signature of many of your MOCs. It makes them quite vibrant and very exciting to look at. Yeah, I love that color. I'm kind of a collector of "natural" toned elements. I can never have to much of the "sand" colors. When done appr...

Re: Waterfall House
The "sand green" bricks are mostly from the Green Grocer set. As for the green slopes, I have a tendency to think if you use a lot of different shapes and textures in various ways, the end result looks more "natural" to my eyes. That's why I don't have a problem with people combi...

Re: Waterfall House
Thanks guys. I really enjoy making scenes like this. The build was fun and came together surprisingly fast, about 2 days. I really appreciate that Lego has produced colors like dark green, dark tan and dark brown. They are perfect shades for castle scenes. Being a FOL is better than ever these days....

Waterfall House
Here's a house by the river. A little domestic scene that was fun to build. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/RebelRock/Castle/WaterfallHouse/thumb/img_9386.jpg_thumb.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/RebelRock/Castle/WaterfallHouse/thumb/img_9394.jpg_thumb.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/...

Wow, quite an amazing battle! The mumakil are fantastic. It would take me forever to figure out all the angles on the heads of those.

Re: Castle Rockenstein
Thanks! Because this was based on something as opposed to a completely original idea, there were a few angles and techniques that a were not something I would have come up with on my own. It was a fun build and a great experiment.

Castle Rockenstein
Hey guys, I haven't logged in here in a while due to real life business but I'm still a castle junkie. This is called Rockenstein and it's basic shape is mostly ripped off from a portion of Lichtenstein castle. I bought an old record a few weeks ago with the castle on the cover, tacked it on the wal...
