New helmet at US S@H pick-a-brick?

I was browsing the online P-A-B, and saw a number of what look like pending additions to the parts available. Under the Mini Figures dropdown, I found an empty image with the tantalizing description "Mini Knights Helmet." The LEGO id number is 4586289, which I can't seem to find anywhere o...

Re: What's your favourite Castle helmet?

I've found this one useful -- not truly "authentic," but the shape and ornamentation work for me:

Re: Anglo-Saxon Gold Hoard

It's apparently the biggest find since Sutton Hoo, and it may eventually re-shape what we think of the Dark Ages. No plastic bricks in the hoard, though! :D

Re: MMV preorder at Walmart

Looks like Wal-mart has it available again, and this time with free site-to-store shipping. Might be time to take the plunge! :D

Re: MMV preorder at Walmart

As far as shipping goes there may be an option to get this site to store, you then have no shipping and you can pick it up at your local Wal-mart. I was thinking the same thing. :eyebrows: David I was going to say that the ship-to-store option doesn't seem to be available, but now the set itself do...

Re: MMV preorder at Walmart

I was keeping an eye on that, but after shipping it's exactly the same price as Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B001USHRCK/ref=ord_cart_shr?_encoding=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&v=glance Plus, Wally World charges sales tax (and in Virginia, on shipping, too) so that's another ...

I'm a bit surprised that Canada has it and the US doesn't -- all the European countries seem to have it available, at 15 Euros or so. If you can find one (or several), it's a great army builder -- my Mom found 4 for me at the Tyson's Corner LEGO store for Christmas '07, but they haven't been spotted...

The only thing glued was the bottom of the board, affixed to the box. Everything else was minifig-standard. But I'm getting "Not Available" in the US on the S@H site, with "Add to Wish List" as my only option. :(

My two boys and I are going day-by-day -- they love the fact that it's building a scene, bit by bit. Leading off with the crownie knight was a good plan: immediately there's a character to create a story with.

Well, I did use a Jayko head and Vladek mask to make a Batman driving my UCS Batmobile -- but that's the best use I can muster.

I've had it for a number of years, and contrary to the product description, there isn't anything to do but build and then blow up -- no story arc, no missions, no activity by the characters. I was very disappointed: but now my five-year-old likes playing with it, if that gives you an indication of a...
