Re: Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder - I Scream Clone
A while back, Blocks Magazine had a feature on D&D-inspired creations. D&D and LEGO are my two favourite hobbies and I had to write a letter showing some of my D&D-themed minifigure MOCs. My message and picture was published in a following issue. Below is the picture I sent them. From L ...

Review: BrickWarriors katar dagger
One of the quintessentially Indian subcontinental weapons is the katar dagger, or simply, katar. Unlike most other daggers, the long axis of the blade is perpendicular to the hilt and attached to it by two backward-facing extensions of the guard. As such, the katar falls within the family of push/pu...

Review: BrickWarriors lute
Picture a bard, troubadour or medieval/renaissance minstrel and you probably have in mind an entertainer with a lute. It's practically the defining musical instrument of the trope. And yet neither LEGO nor any third party parts makers produce one... until now. BrickWarriors (BW; http://www.bric...

Re: Centaurs
They're very cool the way they are .
Just as some horses have manes that don't match their coats, so too do some centaurs have hair that don't match their equine fur. It doesn't appear strange at all. In fact, it looks perfectly natural.

Zombie customs - aaargh...braaains!
Was waiting to get my hands on the Scooby-Doo zombie and the CMF S14 cheerleader to MOC and add to my collection of shambling zombies: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/AmperZand/Fantasy/zombies.jpg Comments, questions and futile attempts to barricade yourself against the zombie tide welc...

The project has reached its funding goal and I'm among its backers. Really looking forwards to receiving my arms in due course. I hope they don't get stolen in the post.

I'm a backer. An extra set was unlocked. The colour voted for for the extra set was dark bley which is cool. I'm looking forwards to receiving my sets.

Re: Elven Warrior.
Is that a helmet being used as a shield? Very clever!
I don't like fleshies. But apart from that, it's a cool minifig. I like my elves (and humans, dwarves, hobbits etc) yellowy.

Re: New Krazy Kastle Krak Guy Custom Items
I have a couple of the Gondorian helmets and they're very cool. I think they're 3D printed and then spray painted. The colour matches LEGO's metallic silver paint. I'm using one and the other's a spare. I'll post a picture (or link to a picture) of my knight of Gondor when I have time. Watch this sp...

Re: Goblin raiding party
I knew that torso would be good for a green-skinned barbarian! :orc: And it's a nice bunch overall - very color-consistent, even with only two (?) actual C13 Goblins. I like the way the buffalo hat mirrors the long ears, too. You can't tell partly due to the picture and partly due to the minifigure...

Goblin raiding party
Goblin raiding party based on the S13 CMF. As you can see, the centre front one is the S13 goblin with a cleaver instead of a sword and short legs, not standard ones. Back row from the left: Thug, Sniper, Soldier Front row from the left: Barbarian, Boss, Stabber http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Amp...

Re: Death knights
Where did you get the flamberges? Little Armory. Sadly, they haven't produced much (or anything?) for years. They did a scimitar (as seen here: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/AmperZand/Fantasy/dnd_drizzt__gruumsh_champ_mimic_guen.jpg ) that was, and is, the best ever produced for minifigs. Their...
