at least those with rare yellowed parts now have a real option! :D those classic space parts are hard to come by and i had to throw away many in near mint condition because of yellowing. ouch. The best application of the cleaner is more rare white, blue, and grey elements and classic printed elemen...

no. you only have your regular retail stores. no sale so far and prices are quite ridiculous vs the us. if you have to visit though, try david jones, myer - these are your departmental stores (with lego in the toy section). kmart, target and big W are your discount stores also with lego somewhere in...

The way around this is simple. Simply name them forest dwellers and leave it to the fans to either use them as forestmen or elves. :P eg. background story can be like so, "a mysterious group of ppl live in the forest. Ancient folklore told the tales of these wonderful beings who rob from the wi...

Re: Package Deal?

Megablocks had the Cars license. If the line was doing well for them, I suspect they would have paid what was necessary to keep it. If the line wasn't doing well or the price of renewal was too high, then Megablocks would have let the license expire. Now, if Megablocks let it go, why would Lego go ...

well, toy story has been selling well for about 10 years now, so naturally i think lego is thinking of cashing in on the franchise. it will be in duplo and lego system format. this is very interesting since i think the theme has a lot of potential. it has many protagonists but few antagonists. it wi...

my own opinion is that the elves wont be released. it's hard in mf terms to differentiate the elves from the humans. of the opinions given, eg. giving them slanty eyes is not an option as it's derogatory to some asian groups (see the miley cyrus incident). the other, pointy ears - not possible if yo...

Cheapest is to buy lego sets in retail stores when they are having sale. A BOGO 50% (buy one get one half off) or BTGT (buy 2 get 3rd free). Buy the sets and sell the minifigs. Another is to order bulk from PAB S@H. get to know the prices well. And when you're familiar with the prices, you can go to...

i was about to say the same thing but amanda said first. you can get about 5 wigs now from S@H's PAB. they seem cheaper than BL. while you're at it, might make sense to pick up some euroarmor and other parts (like cheeze slopes) too. :D

i think (before) they release a blister pack they should create more farm animals. like heir said, pigs, sheep, and goats would be nice (as would single mold chickens, ducks, geese). once we have that many variety then a blister pack would rock!
