Re: The unfinished MOC/the ultimate tablescrap
The reason this thing never made it to CCCIX is because the plan got too big. So I really don't plan on using it for CCCXI, CCCXII, etc. And any future MOC may contain parts of the towers or similar stairs, or the rose window design, but this tablescrap, as it is, is long gone.

The unfinished MOC/the ultimate tablescrap
I have this terrible tendency to not finish MOCs. Here is a MOC that I started two years ago for the Colossal Castle Contest. The project is still going, it just keeps evolving, so I take 2 steps forward, and 2 steps back. The point is that I finally decided to make some old pics public. For example...

Re: How do you clean your Lego?
I've had a few smoky orders and all I did was air them out. Ran across one bricklink store once that actually had a disclaimer about the possibility of a smoky smell. It wasn't emphatic enough. That order reeked.

My entry was pulled from a bigger project of mine, which is still ongoing, so I would like to know what I can do to improve it.

Re: technique request
I spotted this a few days ago. This is too big, and looks better on the outside than the inside, but i'm posting it anyway. It might give you some ideas.

Re: AFOL Influences
When I was a kid, I got Space lego sets, my brother got town lego sets. My first set: Gamma-V Laser craft. My Last set(at the time): Spy Trak I. These sets came solely through Christmas and birthday presents. When my brother and I eventually got an allowance, my brother increased his collection, whi...

Re: Angled Walls (Tips?)
Cannot... ignore... maths... Oh wait, I'm American. I say math. So... Using your 2x3 trick, by putting down a foundation of tiles except for two 1x1 plates at strategic locations I can approximate any angle x by taking a rational approxation of tan(x/2), so long as the denominator and numerator of t...
