Re: CCC XXI

Another huge thank you to everyone who put on, donated, judged and entered the contest this year. Congratulations to all the honourable mentions and category winners! I was very much drawn to the fun criteria for the "Truly Classic Castle" category and was excited to check the new entries ...

Re: Question from a folder builder

While it might not be exactly what you are looking for, I recently learned about the existence of this part. https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=3652#T=C While it is slightly smaller than 2x2 to facilitate it's original purpose, can only be attached from the top, and is only in l...

Re: CCC XXI

Just wanting to thank everyone for putting on this contest! I am in the final stages of finishing an entry as the clock ticks ever closer to the deadline. I haven't been active on the forum in many moons, but I have had a blast working on my entry!

It has been far too long since I participated in one of these...I think it would be fun to do it again.

Re: Colossal Castle Contest 15

Thank you again for hosting this contest! It's hard to believe that my first CCC was number 5, now, 10 years later I'm still here. I haven't been able to participate in the last couple, but since I no longer have my grey bricks tied up in one MOC, I hope to enter.

Re: Notre-Dame Des Prairies

Thank you all for your comments! This was a very interesting project with many ups and downs, but I'm glad how it turned out. It met its end recently in order for me to get my grey bricks back for this years CCC...

Notre-Dame Des Prairies

It has been quite some time since I last posted, and I'm coming up on my 10 years of being a member, so I see no better time than now to share my latest medieval MOC, Our Lady of the Prairies. This has been a long project but I am very pleased with how it finally turned out. [url=https://flic.kr/p/Z...

Re: Colossal Castle Contest 14

As I have been planning my builds I have come across a few more questions: 1) For the Siege Warfare category, can the siege weapon be on a base (i.e. attacking a castle wall) or does it have to be on its own? 2) Is any overhang allowed? (i.e. a bit of a tree, or a minifig's spear) not excessively of...

Re: Colossal Castle Contest 14

The wait is finally over! I want to start with a big thanks to everyone that has a part in the contest. Thank you for putting in so much effort every year and donating some wonderful prizes. Even if I don't enter every year this is my favourite online Lego contest. I do have a few questions though, ...

Re: PAB Cup Blender

Thanks for the replies! It doesn't look out of place in my kitchen at all, and since I don't have an actual blender... The handle is held on using this piece attached to a normal [url=http://alpha....

PAB Cup Blender

Hello all, It has been a while since I have posted, but I just wanted to share my latest MOC with you. Re: Colossal Castle Contest 12 - Winners!

Congrats to all the winners and honorable mentions! I sure had fun with my one entry this year, it got me back in the castle building mood and gave me a good history lesson of old lego sets and how they were made! Already looking forwards to next year.

Re: CCC XII naughty list - updated Jan 3

I first just want to thank all that are involved with going through the entries and judging the contest. My entry submitted just fine, but I realized that I incorrectly labeled my out with the new kings castle siege as set #6080, It does not need to be changed but I just wanted to clarify that it wa...

Re: Colossal Castle Contest 12

Thank you so far for the answers to my questions and the many others.

I have only one more. Again, for the out with the new, would one be able to use a piece that came out at the time, in a colour that was around at that time but that piece in that colour was not around at the time.
