Re: Colossal Castle Contest 8

I posted my fairy tale entry last night, and I already found that it is normal that it doesn't show up yet. I hope I did everything alright, I entered my main pic (800 wide) as 'image 1', the link to the Flickr set (a guestpass link) as 'link' and in the description I added a link to more and larger...

Re: The Time Twisters Contest: The Winners!

I got my prize a few days ago, thank you so much! I assembled the ridiculously big wheel thingy together with my son (well, I assembled it and he helped) and didn't look carefully enough so put the knights on the well and the trolls on the catapult... well, why not? Also looking forward to put all t...

Re: The Time Twisters Contest: The Winners!

*stepping up on stage in a rented tuxedo, fighting tears of joy and emotion* This is such a honor, I don't know what to say.... *sob* I want to dedicate this prize to... Okay, so this is not the Oscars, but this is really a pleasant surprise! I didn't think I was chanceless but I really thought ther...

This is my entry: I turned the Chocomel factory into a brewery - there was no Chocomel (chocolate flavored milk) in the Middle Ages. I had to...

Re: Mini Castle Contest V

Just to be sure - can we enter MOCs we already made (and posted on the internet) before the contest? (I expect we can't but the rules only talk about MOCs previously entered in contests...)

Re: 32x32 Challenge: The King's Keep

It's excellent. Love that little ship! And the bushy tree.
The building is castley enough I think, with that bridge and the knight that defends it...
But i'm not a real castle builder myself either, so I don't even know if my entry can really be called a castle...

Oh I see... is 'hëll' actually filtered out? Since when is that a bad word? Well okay it is... Sort of. But now that Lego has released devil minifigs this is not the first hellish MOC I have seen

Okay, trying to decipher your message here.... H E Double hockey sticks appears to be a TV show, does it have a similar castle? And what do you mean with "Megablocks on Earth"? (and I thought my English wasn't bad...)

32 x 32 Challenge: Castellum Diabolicum.

First real castle I built, really.... And it was quite a challenge for me, to build such a large castle! As you see I did not need the entire baseplate... but it is quite a complete castle, I think, including some unfortunate events. I won't need to tell the story, just look at the pictures: http://...

Re: A challenge to you...EDITED!

I saw this this week when Aliencat posted his entry on Lowlug and if I have time enough I'll try to build something as well... I'm not really a Castle builder and those big castles intimidate me a bit, so this would be a nice way to start smaller. I started building something yesterday but I missed ...

It's not easy to free a princess from the wizard's castle.

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3315/3598197395_baf6cb1a00_o.jpg The two Brave Knights prepared for a fierce battle against the wizards who kept the princess in a tower of their castle. They were going to storm the castle, smash the glass that holds the magic fire, chop the wizards' heads off, stran...

Well, this forum is for Castle creations, right? If there's one thing I am NOT good at , it is creating MOCs that stick to a certain theme. Even my Job Muller entry had a robot in it... so the first robot I ever made was for a Castle contest... well, you see what I mean. So that's why I normally pos...

Congratulations to all winners! My personal favorite? Sir Nadroj's Ye Olde Electrician. Very funny and very well executed. But what a great contest, there were so many really good entries... I knew I had no chance but it was fun entering anyway. Next time I'll try to have a good idea when the contes...

Thanks all!
i agree the birds aren't that good - but a round plate + claw plate looked equally silly at least so I ended up just putting a little claw in a headlight because it looks about as chunky as what they made in the set....
