Re: Fordlandia

Thanks for all the feedback guys, I appreciate it! Elbadar, No it is not being submitted to any contests. I'm personally against MOC contests. I build to have fun and express myself, not to win prizes. However, I do respect and admire how contests can give certain builders amazing amounts of motivat...

Josh,

Thanks for the kind words. That other battle/pentagram scene by Jens is quite disturbing...I love it! :D

Re: MOC: Hill House; Homage to the Horror Genre

Blue and white, Thanks for the criticism. I do understand where you are coming from about the MOC being a series of vignettes put together. I was hoping the blood flowing throughout and the repeated use of spiral staircases would hold it together a little better. My next MOC will be focusing on a la...

Re: MOC: Hill House; Homage to the Horror Genre

The small spiral staircase going to the top level is great. It looks a bit fragile... Is it built exclusively on top of tiles or is it secured at a few points on studs? Will this survive until next Brickworld? I would love to see this in person! All of the spiral staircases are connected at ...

River Citadel

This is my latest MOC. It is a citadel built on top of a small mountain overlooking a river. It was on display at the LEGO Store at the Mall of America last May. This is my 4th large MOC since emerging from my dark ages. I hope you enjoy it! http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/einsteinonthebeach/Citad...

The LEGO store at Mall of America just got some in! I think we only got about 48 copies. So get there before the weekend!

That seems odd that they would display the set before having it in stock. I know out here at MOA we will put it on display early next week, but not until we get it in and put it out on the shelf.

Painful looking MOC, but good!
I especially love the smirking knight looking on.

I don't have any ideas for the crime, but it would have to be pretty bad to get this kind of punishment.

I would assume it is nation-wide. I just saw the email listing what sets we are going to put on sale tomorrow. I bet other LEGO stores are going off the same list.

Very cool design. I love how you incorporated the dragon head into the siege vehicle. It looks very menacing.

The castle design is also very nice. It has a kind of abstract/modern feel to it that I really like. The window patterns on the side are very cool looking.

Great MOC!

Really lovely MOC. Every little scene in the MOC is developed and well designed. I particularly like the use of the blue doors, they add a touch of color that caught my eye in a good way. I also love the modestly sized castle in the back of the scene.

Nice job and good luck in the contest!

Wow. Really amazing details here. I love to dark gray columns on the front of the building, they have a really nice texture to them. I also like the use of the new "telescope" pieces for the banister. Great job!
