Re: A Pirate's Life: the Castle Lands

I've been reading your comic and I like what you're doing. Yep, I've thought for sometime you should put a notice in here about it. Good stuff all the way around.

Glomshire Knights -- 400 episodes and still kickin'

Actually, 403 (almost 404) episodes. No where near as long as some Lego webcomics out there, but longer than any other Lego castle(ish) webcomics I know of! Yeah, we break all the "rules" in terms of factions, builds, and so forth, but dang we sure have fun! If you haven't given us a look ...

It's tough waiting on repairs ....

Image
It's tough waiting on repairs, so Sir Klumsay pets the smithy's chicken while waiting for his trusty sword to be fixed. Just some fun with a modified Blacksmith Attack set (#6918)

I return to the fold ...

After many months of inactivity around these parts, I have started browsing the forum once again. Yes, I'm still doing my comic Glomshire Knights. Yes, I'd love for you to read it. The good wife bestowed upon me three castle sets this holiday season, which I took as a hint that I should perhaps come...

The Drunken Hog

Interior created for my comic, Glomshire Knights. The place is called The Drunken Hog and in this test shot a ranger stops by The Hog for some ale and perhaps to chat up the barmaid. (This is a non-canon scene, btw). http://i804.photobucket.com/albums/yy323/deathdog/5-1.jpg The shot below is just a ...

Glomshire Knights promo builds for Brickworld

Simply because I don't recall ever actually posting pictures here on C-C, here's some shots of two builds that I'm taking to Brickworld to promote Glomshire Knights. Both represent the largest castle builds (and indeed, the largest of any builds) I've ever attempted. Yes, the gatehouse/city wall cou...

Thank you ever so much! Love those Redwall books, by the way. I'd have a go at building the Abbey, but I'm sure I couldn't do it justice.

Re: Colossal Castle Contest 7

I wasn't going to enter this year because last year's contest, quite frankly, left a bad taste in my mouth when it was over. Maybe I shouldn't have tried eating a brick to "become one with Lego" while working on that last MOC! Seriously, I'm in. Will spend part of the day today reviewing c...

Well, I guess I'm back

I've been mostly absent from the forum since before Brickworld last summer, but am going to make the effort to get caught up with things and gear up for the upcoming contest season . . . or at least check in here a bit more often. Still making Glomshire Knights, which takes up most of my build time,...

Re: The Story of Seikfreid (preview)

A good start -- I like stories that begin with action. Too much background information early on gets tedious. With this story, I'm immediately asking "Why is he being chased? Who sent the trolls, etc., after him? Are the ruins significant? Who is this Aeselfer? How can he guarantee safety in so...

Thanks for the support and encouragement everyone! We're now up to episode 55 live on the site (I've been trying to keep to a Wednesday/Saturday schedule as of late. The buffer is getting low, so I'll be starting work on #60 and beyond this weekend.

Re: A challenge to you...EDITED!

I'm a bit late coming across this challenge, but I think I'll give it a go next week. I might be a little past the "deadline" before I'm done, but since there are no prizes I'll beg for forgiveness or feign indifference to rules ala James Dean or Elvis. This might be just the challenge I n...
