Re: Forum Configuration Poll

I voted "I don't care," but that's not exactly the case. I would prefer to have the links open in a new window, but I do NOT want the admins to have to manually edit everything to make it work properly. It's way too much work, in my opinion, for a minor issue. Instead, I'd say go to the ph...

I went to three Wal-Marts near me this evening, and the only remotely decent deal was the Jungle Cutter for $30.

I feel so dirty, too. I broke my longstanding boycott of Wal-Mart today, though at least I didn't actually purchase anything. :(

You're lucky... the three Targets I visited in the Houston area barely had any LEGO sets at all. In fact, I found maybe a total of five sets at three stores. It was kinda sad, actually. I mentioned this in another thread but I noticed this as well . . . I'm visiting family in Pasadena, and the only...

I picked up the Sith Infiltrator for $20, as well as the new Republic ship with Mace Windu. In all, I walked out with five sets total--I'm so ashamed (and ecstatic).

Got to see and hold a 10193 at the Friendswood Baybrook Mall yesterday. Not for sale yet. The set they had was for the display. Even my wife liked it! :D You're lucky. I was there yesterday, and they didn't even have a display. The clerk said that she'd already gotten several queries about the item...

I would love to see a 1400 piece Castle Creator-type bucket with just tons of earth tone bricks, windows, arches, roof elements, etc. It could come with an idea book showing how to make modular castle walls, towers, churches, shops, etc. using the elements provided (or the idea book could also be o...

This really was very nice of Ben and anyone else involved. I was afraid I was going to have to pay a large sum of money to "smuggle" a set in from Scotland, but now I have one on the way direct from LEGO.

Well, like I said I emailed Lego last week with my disappointment not only as a castle fan, but someone who wanted to use the advent calander in its traditional way with his son. Here is the response I got....... Dear GerardThank you for contacting us on 09/04/08 and for your interest in LEGO® bran...

I've had this keychain for a few months and have gotten many compliments on it. There has been some slight paint/color abrasion, but not nearly as much as I would have expected.

Set 8813: Battle at the Pass

I'm trying to jump back in to the LEGO world, as I was an avid fan when I was a kid in the 80s. When I thought I'd "outgrown" my bricks, I mistakenly gave my collection to my nephew (I say "mistakenly" because my sister gave my donated bricks away a few years ago instead of seein...
