I shall look forward to viewing the completed diorama!

Ten new creatures
Well, here we are again. Another year and another batch of creatures to introduce. I wasn’t sure if I’d have anything to show this year, but somehow the urge to build caught up with me in mid September and here we are. Before I start rambling about the mocs, however, there’s something else I’d like ...

Well, I can see that the forum members are gracious as ever, these days. :) thanks for the comments. To answer lil Jon’s question: I got my blue wings from Bricklink (of course), but as far as rarity goes… I think they were mostly sold in the Incan Johny Thunder sets. Best wishes to anyone looking t...

Hey there guys. Just an old rper poking around. I thought I'd pop out and put in my two cents, for what they're worth. First, while it does give me a tinge of remorse to see the CCRP leave these boards- I can understand the benefits of having your own message board. You're doing what needs to be don...

Thanks, Bruce. In finishing this, you’ve given me the perfect excuse to go back and re-appreciate the craftsmanship of these entries. –with commentary, none the less. And as much as building five cccv entries in two months drove me out of my mind…. I can’t help but dig it after looking back at all t...

Well, it looks like I’m a little late to the party. But not too late, I hope, to congratulate Darkspawn, for a very much deserved victory :) …and Stone Goblin, for being the more frightening competition out of the two of us ;) So, here's to you two and here's to the CCCV. This year’s contest is one ...

I know it’s been said, but congratulations to the winners for an outstanding job and major kudos to all the other contestants for helping to make November and December the best two months to be a castle fanatic. Everyone really put forth their best and it was a real treat to see the results. And of ...

Anyway, you really have a lot of mini-fig SPARE hands.. Yes, I confess that I am mildly addicted to them. :) In fact, if there was a piece-of-the-year award I would nominate them every year. Not that there would ever be an award like that. The acronym would be ridiculous for one thing. And the Skel...

Well.... the technic pin is a good guess, but actually I just used two minifig hands. I do use the technic-pin-technique in other things, though the tile-technique is new to me. Something I can stick in my pocket for future use, I guess. As for the horse leg technique-- The lever-end is actua...

Animals, Creatures, and Fantasy Humanoids
Animals and Creatures: Goat First up is a goat. Not much of a commentary on this guy, except to note that he suffers from a common affliction among my animals. Namely: He’s just a hair bigger then Id like him to be. Common excuse #1: He’s just big boned. Tuba This slug/goat combo is actually a nati...
