I do not only think that, I even know that. I know the guy, he lives 7km from me. Trust me, he's not a LEGO employee... Many people have stuff like that... Not being a LEGO employee doesn’t mean that you can build in a professional way. There are more people who liked it to build on a bigger scale ...

This is a nice start indeed. Maybe not historically correct in construction, but this is ample compensated by great fantasy and many details. The style and proportions are typical for a fantasy-castle. I specially like the verticality in this building. And the use of unusual colours. It reminds me o...

I think that the min. age mention is mainly for insurance reasons. TCL simply don’t want the risk of getting claims when indeed a child chokes in a piece of LEGO. The max. age mention is nonsense. For me, it means I have to be a 12 year old for the rest of my life…Not really a problem of course… :) ...

Red can be a fine colour for a castle, Especially when it is build of bricks. But maybe, it is better to mix it with some other colours, like brown, sand red, and a few purple bricks. It is done in this old Dutch castle, “Kasteel Werkeren” , and well, it looks less err… red. http://www.brickshelf.co...

Everyone has his favourite way of building, of course, and there is no fixed rule to it. But speaking for myself I would say: Decide what kind of castle you want to want to build, the location in the scenery, and how big it will be. Start building your landscape roughly. Work from the lowest point o...

It depends, of course, which type of landscape you want to create. If it will be a steep rock formation, then I should start with the rock because that is your foundation. Otherwise, I should build the castle first. Anyway, landscaping is no option at all for me. My castles are, to put it mildly, a ...

The who,e MOC is well done, but somehow it doesn't feel like the tower of London. Maybe that's just me... God Bless, Nathan The real Tower of London, or White Tower, don’t have a caste-feeling either. I think, this is due to the fact that this building, like so many others, repeatedly is redecorate...
