Re: Which Golden Age Castle Is the Best?

I'm sure this question has been answered a zillion times, but they all have their advantages. I had (and still have, and my son still plays with) a BFF and a BMC, and I personally always thought the BFF had a little bit more practical/fortress appeal and looked cooler, but as others have said, it's ...

Re: Collectable Series 5 - review - now in stores (UK)

I've hit the LEGO stores in Northbrook and Woodfield IL over the last week and they've currently got figs from Series 2, 3, 4, and 5 on sale. I came in looking for specifics and in the process helped several dozen kids find the ones they were looking for too, so I pretty much combed the entire stock...

Re: A Song of Ice and Fire?

I haven't been on here in what seems like forever, but my son is getting to an age now where we gleefully raid our two local LEGO stores together (Chicago area) and we've been getting our multi-generational love for LEGO on. Just wanted to link this if you like SoIaF minis: http://www.classic-castle...

Have R2-D2 and Chewbacca (both new) to trade for your C-3P0

Hey guys. I've been off of here for a while due to general life craziness, but I'm working on building my castle and Star Wars collections. I just bought the Star Wars Limited Edition X-Wing tonight that has R2-D2 and Chewbacca in it. The only problem? We already have them! What we don't have, thoug...

Magnificent use of bridges and tower cranels. That's a really appealing scale, too. Well done.

I dig it. The studless surface has a pretty impressive effect. That tile in the executioner's hand is neat, too, where is that from?

Thanks for the comments, guys! The toughest parts to make were connecting the inside cloud to the outside cloud through a slanted opening in a snotted roof that wasn't at an exact angle, and getting the upper part to balance on the slim part of the cloud in the middle. The upper part with the castle...

Castle on a Cloud

Sorry I've been absent for the last couple of weeks, dealing with job/home life stuff, possibly getting ready for a minor shift in career paths, etc. I loved the Micro-castle contest idea and I built mine around a little extra minifig that I put together with pieces of other figs that didn't really ...

Assorted Minifig trade

I have a large group of assorted minifigs from Harry Potter, Agents, Adventure, and City sets that I'd like to trade. What I'm looking for: A queen/maiden (any set) http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?M=cas396 http://www.bricklink.com/M/cas352.gif http://www.bricklink.com/ML/cas378.jpg http:...

Reminds me of the part in WoW in Outlands where you have to clear the old crazy shapeshifter druid out of a haunted house.

That is awesome. I wish I could see it up close. The gatehouse is superb and I love the chained doors. You must be rolling in bricks to make something that big.
