CCCVI misc. Entry: Dropping in

This is my entry for the misc section of the CCCVI. This is a MOC where trolls are being launched by catapult and breaking through the roof, dropping in while th King is eating dinner. By overlap I mean are we allowed to start with an 8x8 base, build it up, and the have plates going off more tha the 8x8 studs.

Hey, I can't wait for this. But I have a question.

In the vignette category, can you have plates extending off of it and just have an 8x8 base, or do we need to maintain the 8x8?
