Re: 10211 is a fantastic castle parts set!
It surprised me that no-one has noticed that when you put two of those new white arches together you get a pointed upper end, Like a gothic arch! Only that fact must make these parts more useful. It's not all that hard to incorporate white in a castle MOC. i think this is a fantastic set, but I don...

Re: The Time Twisters Contest
5. Your entry has to show the set that you're castlifying, and nothing more. No fancy mambo jambo on the side, we want to see the set. Just want to make sure I understand what you mean by this point - you don't want us to "castlify" a $15 set and then plop it on a 64x64 base with a bunch ...

This might be old news, but the set entry is up on the S@H website, says March 3rd availability for US.

Re: TLC Official Color Palate revealed
148 looks interesting.. Could it be a steel grey? Could be a good colour for swords, helmets and armour instead of silver. It's what we would call Pearl Dark Grey, a darker version of Pearl Light Grey, which is used for many weapons in the castle line. To this point Pearl Dark Grey has mainly been ...

Re: TLC Official Color Palate revealed
I would be interested to know what the new 311 and 312 colors are, though. They might already translate to existing colors, or they might be something completely new! Considering their high color numbers, though, I would expect they're something new we haven't seen before. Anyone know anything more...

Re: Looking for a part, please help.
Yes, it's a very rare part/color combination that is not known to have been in any set - most likely there was a run of them for LEGOLAND parks, or just an internal batch for testing, some of which found their way into the public's hands.

Re: Least favorite lego color...
In contrast with others here, I loathe my old grey parts, and much prefer the newer shades. But I would probably feel differently if I had a massive collection of castle building parts in the old greys. As for the current colors, I don't dislike any of them, but lime green would be my least favorite.

Re: Messed up 7079 : Drawbridge Defense
To this day I've still only had a missing part in a set twice. However I've had to request replacements for cracked cheese slopes and headlight bricks, and scratched tiles lately. I bought a copy of 7079 and 7097 and didn't have a problem with either. 7097 did have a random Star Wars blaster in it t...

Re: Thunderous Drilling Machine
Thanks guys! Indeed, the core of the drill is a stack of travis bricks. I think I'll take a picture today or tomorrow showing how it's put together, because I really would love to see if anyone has ideas for how to attach it in a more secure way. In the meantime, I'll try to explain. The big castle ...
