Re: Selling my collection

I hope you get a good deal on eBay, it seems quite risky... Your price per minifig is quite good, but it's the total amount which is probably putting everyone off. I am not a minifig collector myself, so I might be wrong but... I kind of think that there are 2 kinds of people out there: those who ar...

Re: bluish or classic?

Is it a colour photograph? Because it looks more like a B/W, in which case they might not even be gray.

If it's genuinely a colour photo, then there's more shades of grey there, definitely must be a mix of old and new light grey, and dark grey.

Re: If you could bring back any faction?

I was tempted by voting forestmen, but I think classic would be even better if it included minifigs from the yellow castle era, which are much harder to get than forestmen... But if instead "to bring back" means to have new sets and new renditions of the minifigs rather than the authentic ...

Re: How About Some New Colors?

I agree with the other posters. The palette is large enough, that it is often hard to find enough pieces of a certain colour. I think something like this would be a good palette size: White Light grey + medium grey + dark grey Black Yellow Red + dark red Cyan + blue + dark blue Lime + green + dark g...

Fond memories... I had the yellow castle when I was a kid, it was lost with all the rest during the inquisition era. It's not impossible to almost recreate it today since it used fairly normal bricks, but some are not produced anymore (at least not in yellow). What I miss most however is the helms' ...

Re: Unofficial PAB Castle Poll

Generally speaking, online PAB is a fantastic idea... the only problem is that it has so few parts available!! I would really really appreciate ANY addition to it, but I'd rather see rare or special parts added! Normal bricks and plates are widely available in sets, so at least for me there is not m...

Maybe it would be confused with a donkey?

OTOH... I'd kind of like having donkeys in the LEGO castle theme!

Also telling her that for every boot she buys I can buy 3 sets, so each pair of boots she gets, I can get 6 Lego sets, oddly makes her even less tolerant of my buying more and more and more Lego :P The problem with wives is that they are very good at making all their purchase count as "essenti...

I would spend 20$ for the first set and 30$ for the second set.

I don't care what they are worth on the market, only what they are worth for me. If I can't buy something for the price it's fair for ME, I just buy something else.

Hard to Find items are often the same sets which are exclusives to one retailer (TRU, Target, etc). LEGO Exclusives are supposed to be sets, gear, and accessories that you can only purchase on Lego Shop at Home or in Lego Brand Stores. After time, some sets like the UCS Millenium Falcon are sold at...
