Timeline, by Michael Crichton (although it's technically a science fiction book, most of it takes place in the 14th century). Hands-down one of the best books I've ever read.

Very cool! I love how the walls open, and all the little details in the interior.

It might look better if the black squares along the towers and walls were gray to match, IMO. Other than that, I like it.

Awesome contest. I had never built a single serious Medieval MOC in my life before this contest, but I have now.

I just finished building my entry last night, but it needs some polishing. Expect me to post it sometime today!
