We have some here in France, while they are not usually as up-to date as those in the US, especially when it is about legos.

Wandering is the way of life of vagabonds, I think, wanting or willing to know something is wonder about it.

Re: New Kingdoms sets at TRU!!

I'm already 400€ down at the end of this month, so I'll have better not try to check around which shops already have them on the shelves.
Changing job was quite a good idea and now was precisely the right moment after all.

Re: Related Theme Set Review: Dragon Fortress

I'm so frustrated for the "battle at the pass" passing by I did some times ago that I did not delay any decision. After speaking about it to my GF, I went back to the store the week after, and got the set. I will be able to get some of the current sets little later, after all. It is so nic...

Re: Weekly Set Review: Church

I don't like those old trees that doesn't clip on studs, they feel out of place, they are not ABS, so they simply doesn't feel like Lego. This church, while basic, capturated the essence of such a building, with interresting details, like rounded back, and the stone stairs up the roof (I love this f...

Price in store for this set

I'm digging this out for I saw one in a store in my area. This set has lots of usefull parts, many black slopes, old gray bricks, two rounded doors in black and two rectangle barn/gate doors, old brown logs, brown technic pulleys, the raised baseplate, and so more. Figs won't be more than 50% useful...

Re: New Castle Set #5929

Well, it's a nice little set, for sure, it has less price per fig value than 7949, but has some interresting parts, enough to make a nice cart, the door and windows are the nice part, plus, there are the bars instead of the grille most seen recently to fill the frames. And, last but not least, a bar...

Re: Weekly Set Re-Review: Knight's Stronghold

This extension is plate based, while BMC is baseplate based, so, out-of the box, they can't connect well together. The structure has gaps, and show more near hinges when you bend the wall. But anyway, it's one on my wishlist, since it will go with the BMC, and it has the great rounded doors, that ar...

Re: New York Toy Fair 2011

Papy is right. I just goes to show how often people acutally read the topics here. ;) Since these Gizmodo pics are probably the images we'll find on the s@h website soon and really don't show anything we haven't seen before, this topic is getting merged with the NYToyfair thread. I feared to look t...

My elf!

I went to a toystore that has 2 full boxes of series 3, and began to search and feel the insides, around the tenth, I was lucky enough to feel the handle and shape of the shield, then, to check, tried to feel the bow, and here I am now with mine. It is nice, but i don't feel the need to get more tha...

Re: Gizmodo Kingdoms 2011 Pics

Good catch username. It certainly is a new part. I am just wondering what purpose they made the part for? I haven't noticed it in any other sets coming out. It was already stated on the nurnberg's topic two weeks ago, but nobody seems to have read others' contributions. The blacksmith will h...

Re: Lego Prototypes (castle)

I might try to rebuild the prototype castle from the pictures, doesn't seem that hard :), it would just be awesome if someone could manage to make decals for those dragon shields and 1 for the black crusader barding. With acetone, the halberd can easily be achieved, but not sure about the foregroun...

Re: 10193 Medieval Market Village - Official Thread

Horses are usually taller than cows, add to it that the lego horse is quite tall, compared to the minifig. I wonder why TLC didn't manage to put an attachment system (stud or clip) on the cow's head to put trailing gear on them, because that's the way we do with such animals. For the longer live of ...
