Re: Asking about CCC Results

...can't judge pictures you can't see. I don't know that that is exactly true. I mean, they saw them before the site went down, so they should have a good idea of what they were supposed to look like. Then it's just up the judges imagination. And isn't justice supposed to be blind anyways? So if sh...

Re: Asking about CCC Results

I have the perfect sollution for the problem of mocs falling of the table; keep them at the floor so they can't fall :) Yeah, that don't work too well either. If you ever have to move it off the floor, you risk it falling then. I almost completely lost my latest project when I tried to move it to a...

Re: Asking about CCC Results

So I guess I shouldn't ask to when you will be telling me which prizes I won for my MOCs I didn't submit?

Re: LEGO Friends line

I've bought three of these sets. 1 for my 7 year old niece, and 2 for a couple of adult female friends for their birthday. Everybody loved them, even those who didn't get them.

Support Australia’s First Lego Therapy Group for ASD Kids

I saw this on Wired's GeekDad blog and thought it was worth sharing. It seems like a pretty good idea.

Re: LEGO Friends line

I was at TRU doing Christmas shopping today for my nephews & nieces. For my oldest brother's kids(2 boys & a girl) I always try to get stuff I would want(ie Lego & video games) because when I come down to visit I like to play with them. And I've gotten my niece the "pink bucket"...

Re: BrickCon 2012 Collaborative Project: Age of Empires II

First, I'm hoping to find time to build a prototype Teuton castle in black - since all of my gray is still tied up in my BrickCon castle, which I haven't been able to bring myself to disassemble yet - sometime this week. That way, I'll be able to figure out the proportions of everything before I ac...

Re: LEGO B-DAY Cake

The 8th. But I had my Lego Party the 7th because the next day was the Texas A&M vs Texas Tech game that I had to go to. Only a few people built stuff and I haven't taken any pictures, so I've not got anything to post. What I did was pick up some of the latest CFMs and then had the others I alrea...

Re: LEGO B-DAY Cake

Man, my birthday was last week too. I even threw myself a "come & play with my Lego" party. But I didn't get anything nearly as cool as that. I am so jealous.

Congrats.

Good call. See you soon!
This is what I was most excited about seeing in the pics this year. I can't wait to see if AC is going to repeat last year's antics.

Re: Vote for the new CC Mascot!

I got this as well, but my vote would go for blueandwhite's - I like the color matching and it is simple to recreate. Thanks Well, this is what we'll do. Anyone who gets this message, just let me know who you would have voted for. No stuffing the ballot boxes now! ;) Josh It seems more like the pol...

I saw this on Wired, and I thought it was an ingenious way to get a kid involved with his dad's business.

Re: Technic Question

What I've seen with this piece is it is used to connect 2 axises together to make 1 larger axis. B/c of that it has a stopper to keep you from pushing the 1st axis out of the other end when you add the 2nd.

Re: Tonight...

Bruce: I had considered doing something of the sort but I didn't think that I could compile a good enough assortment by the time I had to leave. Also, not being able to build MOCs during my first semester or so at college might be a bit of a blessing in disguise. I may try to come up with something...
