Re: Train MOC by zephyr, great parts usage
Wow! Love the use of the crossbow for the siderod detail and the moon crater baseplate for the smoke as you mentioned. Great model! Thanks for pointing this out or I would not have seen it.

Re: Bongo Surface Arrival
An amazing SW castle MoC. It must have taken you a while to collect enough nice shiny blue tiles. :) One idea that I always think of with MoC's with many windows is to partition off some of them and use the LEGO lighting kit (vintage item) to have light in a few windows. But I guess this is supposed...

Definitely like the second MOC as well. Brown minifig heads for coconuts - genius.

Yes, I was aware of it. There is also the round bottom vs. pointy bottom variation. Black Falcon torsos are a tricky thing.

Re: New Vintage Minifigs Collection (FORESTWOMAN????)
But how do you know all of the plain-faced minifigs are men? Without makeup as represented on the red-lipped head, who's to say?

Re: Collectable Minifigures?
I know I'm late to this party.... but darn, those look great! The caveman reminds me of Captain Haddock a bit though. :) As a fan of the Castle Forestmen and Western series I think the Cowboy and Forestman would be my two favorites, personally. Props to LEGO for this release. So, do we have a date y...

Nice slender-looking detail work out of the oversized minifig weapons. Very creative. Looks like a winner to me.

Black Falcons because they have the wisdom and wiles of the old. *Dodges flying shoe*

Beautiful work as always. I checked the photo gallery and love the 'Blue Christmas' scene. How appropriate for the holidays.
This one is great too... piggyback ride... heh.

Neat. Is this intended to remind us of the Arthurian legend of Excalibur? That is certainly what I thought of, as your stand is stone colored.

Re: CCCVII - Outlaw Escape - Don't look up!
Nice nearly-studless build... and where the studs are used, it adds a nice texture breakup. The color variation adds interest to the roof and street too. As others have said, interesting use of slopes for the wall detail, statue looks good too. Best of luck in the contest.

The lesson is to build LEGO guns in one's basement, but LEGO crossbows are OK. At least the minifig-sized ones.

Nice touches include the spy in the window, the candles and the gold bar. I like it, save for the naughty beverages.

Re: Does LEGO Know of All the Possible Part Connections??
Perhaps the most extreme example I can think of is the rubber band holder: http://media.peeron.com/pics/inv/custpics/thumbs/41752.jpg AFAIK this was never used as a component of any set - all it was was a place to put the rubber bands. Still, they threw in a couple of holes sized to technic pins, s...
