How about a female twist on things? http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/j1a3l5/Blue-Stuff/chess/thumb/chesswhite.jpg_thumb.jpg (Pic links to folder) Not only is this my first attempt at making a chess set, it also includes my first attempt at making stickers and capes. If you will note, both my bishop...

I quite enjoyed it myself, still giggling a little.

I am also a fan of the frogs, both the green and trans green. In fact, I own quite a few of them, 20 to be exact. But then I needed them for my own attempt at funny.

Think of it this way, new grey is an unlimited source. Light grey is not as available, getting more limited and more expensive as it starts to fade and yellow. As for myself, I have very very very few light grey. But then I happen to like to build castles in tan. Enjoy your new grey bricks, I'm look...

Storylines are interesting, but do not have to limit any creativity in my opinion. I spin my own stories for just about everything I create. It is part of the fun for me. Does that mean everything from a storyline is limited to be only that story? Um...how about I don't think so. Does it make the li...

I want to add my thank you's for the Admin's too. Grading all of those entries must have been very time consuming and couldn't have been very easy either. You did an excellent job. Thank you for running the contest in the first place. It was my first contest and I learned a lot by participating. Mos...

I got a large quantity of blank green heads along with black, brown and tan in the Toys R Us bonus box last year. I also don't know if they were made in a set, but they were in the bonus box.

My youngest sister was born and the words "choking hazard" sent my parents into a tizzy. Ironically, it was this sister that began building before I came out of my dark ages.

Thank you all for you kind words. My favorite out of the two would have to be the Cookie Dough one. I do that to my mother all the time. In my case, it seems to be my Mom who does it to me. All part of the fun of making them. Cool rugs dude. I'd make some but i don't have the parts. And TheOrk. I th...

Little Scenes

They aren't castle, but they are what I have been building lately. I'll probably end up using what I am learning while I build theses little scenes in the interior of a castle soon. I guess you could call them over-grown vignettes. The first is a cookie thief scene. There is always someone around st...
