Re: The LEGO MOvie - I've seen it

I want to see this movie so badly! I can't say I've felt this way about a movie since I was a kid. Hollywood can ruin GI Joe and Transformers, but they can't keep LEGO down. If I have to, I'll go see it by myself.

Re: LCC General Information and FAQ

For those of you wondering what happened to me, some complications relating to work and school showed up. I really do intend to get involved at some point, I just don't have a lot of free time at the moment. Being a grown-up sucks some times. :?

Re: LCC General Information and FAQ

I'll have to look into it. At the moment I am bogged down by school work and it looks like you all left me quite a bit of material to get through, so it will probably be a while before I can get involved. That's not to say that I won't. The olde CCRP was my favourite element of the forum back in the...

Re: Castle and Tolkien sets for 2013

I find this year's Castle line up to be rather bland, but its nicely supplemented by the other lines LEGO currently has going. As bland as the current line may be with its Lions and Dragons etc, the sets are still of better quality then what they were producing in the late 90's to early 2000's.

Re: Anti-Hero

I'm not lying when I say thats one of the coolest custom jobs I ever seen; although the paint job could use a little fine tuning. I love the wings on the helmet, they add an aura of evil to anything. That sword looks particularly cool, is it even made from any lego parts? Non-lego swords that fit in...

Nicely done. I usually adapt lego into Warhammer, not the other way around. I always roughhouse with my lego, which is something that can't be done with Warhammer materials.

Congradulations. I'm glad you joined, I've always thought your MOCs were nifty. Too many good builders go under the radar on Brickshelf.

Re: Castle Heraldry mayhem

However thanks to the Red Lion Knights from Kingdoms... I now have an extra set of distinct heraldry that I really can't find a place for amgonst the existing European or even Near Eastern factions that I have in the middle ages. One possibility is that you could use them to depict Bohemians. If I'...

Re: Tactics

Final Fantasy Tactics was a great game. I'm surprised I've never seen any MOCs of it, considering how similiar its graphics are to lego. Back in the day, I tried to make up a variant of FFT based on lego with dice, but in the end I just stuck with Brikwars.

Re: Six long years ago...

Congratulations Dan. Funnily enough, I realized I just missed my own six year anniversary about two weeks ago. I've been in a dark age of sorts for the past couple of years, hence my total lack of activity on this forum. I should thank you for getting me more involved in the CCRP, and those first fe...
