Re: CCCVII: Temple of Humhau

Excellent! I'm glad I can get someone else to be interested in it! :)

Ebu and Seik: Thank you very much! :) I'm a fan of ruins as well, so I'm sure the idea will pop up again sometime!

CCCVII: Temple of Humhau

I've made my first minifig scale MOC! This time I've gone with a decaying Mayan temple that a couple of Spanish explorers have stumbled upon in the jungle. I had a lot of fun making this one. It's an entry for the C³VII Eastern Medieval Life category. http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j220/veggiegea...

Re: CCCVII: Avenue of the Dead

Thanks everyone! Glad to @Athos: Yep those are jumper tiles. :) And yeh, I know what you mean about the road but... I think it would have looked funnier with a bunch of green tiles around it. I dunno, Lego pieces are a bit strange and I'm still getting used to it all, hehe. (Again, I used to play wi...

CCCVII: Avenue of the Dead

Hey Classic-Castle! This is my first MOC: http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j220/veggiegear/kingscastle/aztec1thumb.jpg Unfortunately, I was too late for the Micro Castle Contest (sorry Dan ;)). However, I made a microscale Aztec scene depicting the 'Avenue of the Dead' leading up to an Aztec pyrami...

Re: Colossal Castle Contest 7

Sure, that's possible. If I were you, though, I'd come up with something like this by Jojo , where you make something to go in the foreground and make that your backdrop. Bruce Hmmm, the MOC I finished today doesn't quite apply for a situation like that. Thank you for the idea though! I will defini...

Re: Colossal Castle Contest 7

Oh, I have a question. Is microscale allowed for Eastern Medieval Life? We've always had these categories focus on the minifig scale. We just had the annual mini castle contest that focused on microscale. That said, there have been entries that used microscale to depict castles in the distance, to ...

Re: A Recent Convert

Thanks for the welcome, everyone! I'll be sure to stay around and pop into chat a lot. I am guessing that your Lego collection is somewhat established :D , and so there is no real excuse not to start building straight-away. The benefit of getting into Lego from your AFOL husband. :D So, how did you ...

Hey there everyone, I'm HeavyWeather. Better known as Aliencat's wife. ;p I was at BrickCon '09 and had such a great time that I wanted to join the community and maybe get involved with something here or there ( :o ). As far as my Lego history goes, it's not all that involved. I built up sets and pl...

Too bad I noticed too late that the photo was being taken! I'm hiding behind John, it seems. And Aliencat... Behind me? Hey, where did he go? XD
