Zulu Dawn Chess Set
As said in the Chess Challenge Post, I'm not sure if everyone would consider Victoria era within the castle theme so if this has to be moved to general so be it :P. Anyway I've been working on a Chess set somewhat based a on the film Zulu Dawn . Here are some of my favorite pieces up for the chess c...

Re: Monthly Challenge #2: Chess
I haven't posted anything in a while but for once I'm working on something that may coincide! Going by the lose rules I might be okay otherwise it was fun to post. I figured early Victorian has some legitimacy in castle :D . Anyway I've been working on a Chess set somewhat based a on the film Zulu D...

I quite like the young lad, though I think he'd make a better peasant

Re: Castle Gear Review: Fright Knights Playing Cards
Interesting. Though I do have one question? What do the different suits look like? Are they all Royal King for king, Hubble bubble for queen and random dark forest guy for jack? I so, I think they'd be a lot better if they made each suit based on faction, ie. Basil - King, Hubble - Queen, Fleur de L...

Re: Crownie Dwarven Steam Tank
Darn it! I just finished building something rather similar. Well, no plagiarism intended. ;) No problem, just be sure to post, I'd love to see what you came up with :D. I still have the LDD file I started off with if you're interested Thats a pretty nice tank. I particularly like the boiler on the ...

Crownie Dwarven Steam Tank
I've been thinking of this idea for quite sometime. It's a Steam Tank operated by Crownie Dwarfs, I've fully detailed the interior to have a firebox, controls, ladder and cannon access, although it's hard to show in these photos. I'll try an make a cross section photo of it next week if anyone is re...

Brick Built Flail Revisit and Throwing axes
I posted a brick built flail a week or so ago, I redid it using black ends instead of red and some small throwing axes for a dwarf.

Re: Weekly Set Review: 6099 Traitor Transport
I remember when this set came out I kinda wanted the set and rock. But that was a long time ago and I'm ashamed :( . It's still not too bad of a set; decent pieces, and I did kind some of the fright knights such as basil and the fleur de les guy. I believe some people may not recall the cave as it w...

Re: Brick-Built Flail
That's a nice brick built weapon. I wonder how it'd look with a travis brick and the viking horn pieces that lego makes. I did give it a quick go but it started to look a bit unwieldy lol. BTW. What is that shield the knight with the black armour is using? Is it a custom design you´ve made or what?...

Re: Brick-Built Flail
Thats a nice, and apparently quite poseable flail. But maybe the ends would look better in black? Or is the red colour blood? A_V My thoughts exactly. I ended up using red because my only source of technic ball joints was from Trolls Assault Wagon. But I've already placed an order on Bricklink for ...

Re: Least Favorite Castle Set!
I'm gonna have to side with a lot of people and say nothing I bought disappointed me more then 6043 The Dragon Defender. I remember building it as quickly as possible. Then loading the rocks in the buckets with a big grin on my face. Only to be hit with disappointment when releasing the mechanism to...

Brick-Built Flail
I haven't posted in a while because I'm waiting for a brick link order but here's something I made while playing around with parts. Not sure if its been done before but it's a brick-built flail that'll keep the purists happy. http://www.flickr.com/photos/45110938@N08/4277713929/ http://www.flickr.co...

Very creative ideas. Perhaps when you are done you should make a Ball MOC utilizing all of them

Re: CCCVII: Assassins Creed
I like the various architectural strategies you used in this MOC. I'm curious though, what is the tube from? Is it one of those fiber optic tubes from Lego space?
