Hey thanks for all your comments! That tile technique is amazing! I will have to try it sometime. Thanks Dark :) This is a great MOC, Jim! Very detailed build. And, this is an awesome building technique.... Did you come up with this, or if not, where did you see this before? Thanks Sir Nelson :) I h...

Buildbook: Stained glass slope windows

Howdy! I've had a few folks ask me about the stained glass windows in my recent Church , so this post will provide a few details of the construction. These windows are based on using the 1x1x2/3 slopes in the various trans-colors. Currently, these parts are available in trans-green, red, black, blue...

Good job! The moldings under each of the eaves are made from a double layer of jumper plates covered by a long row of 1 x n tiles. The roof is actually made up of quarter-lap tiles. I like the look of the quarter overlap - the larger reveal on each tile. It also cuts the number of tiles required to ...

Howdy! No worries about posting this for me Wunz. I didn't realize that the folder would be moderated so fast. I created this MOC to explore the use of the Plate, 1x2 with one stud element sometimes called a jumper plate . There are approximately 260 of these in the building. Can you see where I use...

Howdy! This set is pretty good for a KK2 set. The catapult works really well, and getting 2 figs and a horse is nice. I don't like the KK2 knights very much, but at least it's not another Jayko. I'm not sure what I think about the fireball, but the catapult is not mounted on a horse, so thats progre...

Howdy! Sorry it's taken me so long to throw my opinion in, but here it is: 1) What, if anything, can we do to improve the C-C Website (outside the forum)? I really like the C-C website, probably because it has become comfortable. Herein lies the danger. Stagnation and the overwhelming burden of so m...

Welcome Kyle! Good to have you as a member. I enjoyed looking at your MOCs, especially the yellow gate and the red tudor house. Thanks for sharing them. This is a friendly site (unlike some others), but it still takes a bit of courage to step up and display your efforts. I love BC! I try to get up t...

Very nice!

Those Batman parts are going to be very versatile, and you've shown us some great uses. :) The shaman is particularly nice.

Thanks for sharing these! I like the movie, and I really like your MOC!

How about doing the bicycle scene? Or "...think you used enough dynamite there Butch?"

Howdy! I remember looking at this in the TexLUG pics earlier. Its a great house! I love that color. It really is a sweet house, I especially like the windows and the stone (?) corners. Thanks Josh! I like the sand colors for buildings also, and the corners are meant to be stone. And thanks for posti...

That's sick and so wrong Tony!

The only thing worse is that I read the thread, while the link was loading in a separate window. In dread, I took a peak, and almost fell out of my chair laughing!

PS: Do not print that out and post it at work. Our customers and co-workers would not understand!

Here is my entry - Across the river, the townfolk do not suspect an impending attack. A patrol goes about its business. The patrol is attacked by Dark Knights. Facing overwhelming odds, they retreat to the bridge. The dark lords arrive, and raise the fallen soldiers to do their evil bidding. A fierc...

Very nice work there Chad!

I particularly like the detailed battlements and windows, and the use of the non-castle parts for the cross.
