Re: Castle at BrickCon 2010
Sadly I was unable to build any wall modules or buildings. I didn't bother making a moc card for my contribution to the event as it'll be part of Ye Olde's display and he deserves all the glory. The contributor packs are really quite nice looking. Will the vendor be there? It would be nice to thank ...

Re: BrickCon 2010: Sigfig Photoshoot Signups!
Not too sure how this works but here's a pic of the sigfig I'm bringing down for the photo.

The one on the left not the blingy Ackbar.

Re: Castle at BrickCon 2010
^Need to fill space huh? Seems as (though) I'll have to add yet another thing to the long list of things to build for con. I'll see what I can throw together to help out Ye Olde.

Re: 6054 Forestmen's Hideout Redux
^ I really dig your re-imagining of this set as well. I'd like to redux my redux sometime to have the height and details that one that size has.

6054 Forestmen's Hideout Redux
My re-imagining of Lego set 6054. I maintained all of the distinct features both playability and aesthetic but chose to change the color of the roof from blue to green opted not to mount shields on the outside or run a red flag. None of these things screamed hideout to me. http://farm5.static.flickr...

Re: Castle at BrickCon 2010
I've already begun work on an addition to Ye Olde's layout and have wet my appetite for Castle building. If I do get around to building a building for the Medieval city I'd like to use Green over Sand Green as my colors. I also put together at least 25 Forestmen not including my Sig Fig to be doing ...

Re: Castle at BrickCon 2010
Seeing as I suffer from theme ADD with plans to bring mecha, a VV, space, something for BB Big in Japan as well as Castley goodness I don't think I'll be able to commit to any wall sections. I'm sure I'll have some fun stuff to contribute but I'm a bit of a build by the seat of my pants guy so who k...

Re: Castle at BrickCon 2010
Finally a part of this forum for the planning of this display. I'm sure I'll have lots of Forestman-y stuff to bring maybe a treeman or something too. Its a bit early to tell exactly what I'll be bringing but I'm getting super stoked for con. I also may or may not be collaborating with another Canad...

Re: Monthly Challenge #2: Chess
I'm digging the Dragon masters love you got going Dano. In a perfect world we'd both have enough pieces to field an entire board and the ability to play against each other.

Re: Monthly Challenge #1: Medieval Weapons
It seems I've had ninjas on the brain lately so this is what I came up with.
I've noted all of the different weapons on the flickr page so click the link.

Playing with Big Bricks
This past weekend VicLUG had the chance to participate in an event with Certified LEGO Professional Robin Sather where we helped build a huge Duplo sculpture. We had lots of extra yellow bricks so I took it upon myself to build a yellow castle. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2639/4425933886_3c1d422e...

I hope this is acceptable. It is in fact castle headgear.
If not I have to say I really like this one.

Re: Forestmen Floating Island by Aaron D
Wow couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this on the front page. Glad everyone is digging the u-clip technique. I have enough bits to make one way longer and plan on utilizing it in an homage to my fave set.
