Re: LEGO Classic Castle in decline?
People's lives have their seasons too which affect activities like this, especially considering that no one is getting younger. I last posted Dec 2014 and I haven't visited much and I haven't been as active with the HeroQuest stuff I was into for a bit. We started our family early 2013 and have the ...

Re: Build Your Own Lego Knights Realm, Book review
Cool, thanks for that. I've just flicked it to the wife as a birthday suggestion for me
I also noticed that one of the authors is Lutz Uhlmann. I've bought from his store several times so it's nice to see a familiar name but a shame to hearthe difficulties he's had.

Re: Elves
I haven't looked at it in detail but it's clearly not what people hope / expected (at least from our AFOL / castle perspective).

Re: The Siege of Bannockburn Castle
using the brick separator to 'build' I thought would give it away. Yeah, that and dropping pieces into a plastic bag (at least it appeared that it happened - maybe the force is strong in this one?). Plus who knows exactly what pieces they need in advance :) For this video we used a Canon Powershot ...

River Fortress for me - size, figs, design and faction are winners. Always wanted it as a kid but didn't own any until a few years back. Didn't mind the entrance for the Wolfpack though

Re: Josh takes the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge
Oh, I get the fundraising (which is great) and Josh part. Just the premise of the challenge side seems a bit lame.
Anyway, it's always good to put a face and voice to those behind the scenes. It turns members into people

Maybe it's because I'm Australian but I don't get it. What was the significance of that?

Re: 6073 vs 6074
The roof line at the rear of the castle and probably the imposing entrance. I have both. I had 6073 as a kid but always wanted 6074 and only acquired it as an adult. I don't dislike the 6073 but 6074 looks and builds nicer.

Very cool. I have just started re-reading the series from the start recently and part of me wondered whether it was possible to MOC some stuff up. Would love for them to pick up this license but not holding my breath.
